Not only is it probably illegal, it'll probably break after 2 months...

That's not the only new NES out there... I went searching for a geniune Nintendo brand top-loading NES on ebay a couple months ago, and had to wade through a ton of these...

Actually a lot of the Top Loader rip offs are great. I've got one that has full NES controller/lightgun support. Possibly the best $35 I've ever spent.
