This is a patent that deals with emulation on a Nintendo system and how it works.

This is an article that simplies and explains the patent and some images.

This screen shows the series selector. As you can see, tabs at top to browse through variious series.. "Others" for standalone games and then you pick from a game from the series.

This is a character selector, sort of like Mario 64 DS.. where you can play as other people other than Mario.

Though would be cool to play as Koopa.

Imagining playing through Ocarina of Time but not as Link, rather Ganondorf!

I don't know. It looks fishy to me.

And they spelled it "Super Mariocart" which an internal probably wouldn't do.

A faker wouldn't either.... Believe me, the most stupid mistakes are made by officials.

Stupid guy for putting it as a C unless Japan was that way

But it looks promising. If they made Mario Kart for the SNES/N64 online with Rev...*creams* ;)

It's not fake. USPTO website isn't going to give fake documents.

Second, I work for the site, so I can tell you it's not a BS patent.

And third, not everyone at Nintendo knows their products, especially lawyers. Most PR reps don't even play games.
