Nice. The only thing nicer is a Hi-Def TV.
But that's a step up or two...and isn't really meant to optomize PC stuff. Nice monitor, specs?

Wait till you play games in wide, its even better :)
CS:S in widescreen = beautiful
ask if you need any help on getting some games to run in wide.

eh, just more money really cuz usually an HDTV is bigger, other then that is the same as an HDTV, buy an HDTV card for the pc and you have HDTV then. :P or some hdtv tuners have a DVI plug on em.

what do you mean swordfished? you mean he put 2 side by side and had em sharing the picture screen so its a widescreen split by 2 ?

yes. that's what he means.
haven't you watched Swordfish? with John Travolta?
dont think i ever watched it all the way thro, probably seen parts of it.
But with using monitors like that, you really always want to use odd number of monitors. because with 2 you get a line going straight down the middle. with 3, the middle is a full screen and the lines are to each side. especially in a game, (i've tried with 2 before, hehe) the line down the middle is just no good. in a FPS game, thats where ya gotta aim. so half your crosshair is on each screen.
5 screens together looks amazing tho. hehe

but....is it worth buy 5 screens, or one projector? projectors are expensive but there so portable...
well they'd do different things. monitors would give you a better picture and 5 would give you mega super duper wide screen while a projection would be a very large normal widescreen. i dont think either is 'worth it' i think a widescreen LCD is perfect.
but a projection would display it huge up on a wall.. while 5 monitors wrap around you forming a type of half circle, thats really what its about, i've only seen it done on a couple games, and i have no idea how it would have to be done to setup (cuz its running of muliple gfx cards) but they arent all whats infront of you, the ones on either side are actually showing the sides. the picture actually does wrap around you.
have to find that site that showed it running agian in 5 screens.

With two monitors, you can play a game on one screen and instant message/internet/Photoshop on the other screen. It's really great. I used to know a website that showed pictures of it but it's so hard for me to recall such memories.
yes you can do that, i was refering to using both as a screen together, but theres an option to use both as a seperate individual screen too.
