This game looks good, but the graphics are not impressive for a 5th generation console.

I think the graphics are fine... the graphics are never top notch with Suikoden games... the story has to be compelling for me to even consider a middle-class visually stunning game. FFX for example had a compelling story and good graphics

But Suikoden has always delivered an epic storytale.

Man, Suikoden IV was the biggest disappointment of my gaming career.

Can they win back my trust?

I honestly think that Suikoden III was the pinnacle of all Suikoden accomplishments. 6 person attack parties, fun strategic battles, good characters, and my most beloved aspect: the fact that the story came together from 3 different stories with 3 different lead characters.

Let's hope this game gets back to it's roots.

Edit: Upon watching the video, I think this game will please me much more than did Suikoden IV.

suikoden III never came to AUS as far as I know, i really wanted to play it tho :(
