*Looks outside to see the partly cloudy, 65 degree weather*

Hmm.

It actually DID snow in LA around 4 years ago, and that was truly magical. But, like most LA natives, I usually don't get that Wintery feeling until a ski/snowboard trip is planned, and an hour long drive up the mountains is made :p

It just gets in the 30° range at night here. No snow. Everyone goes to Lake Tahoe to get their snow fix.

It doesn't even get below freezing here yet - even at night.

Do you feel like you are missing out by not having the four full seasons?

We got three inches or so yesterday evening and are forecasted to get 6-9 more tomorrow. Hurrah, Minnesota.

I like snow when I don't have to drive or do anything. Otherwise it can be a bit of a danger/annoyance, but I over all I like it. It hasn't snowed much at home yet, but it snowed a bunch in Buffalo when we were on tour.

Ahh the tales I could tell of upstate NY and snow.

But we got a pretty light snowstorm yesterday. Didn't really stick, but came down for hours. Not cold enough.

I do love me a White Christmas.

michigan winters are quite odd.
one second we'll have a snowstorm and the snow will stick around for a week or so, then another one will hit.

not to mention, this is the coldest winter i think i've ever experienced in my lifetime.

Yeah, I had friends who went to Syracuse and now live in Rochester. They certainly know a lot about it! I think the coldest I've ever been was in Syracuse in February. -15 or so the two days I was there.

Fuck snow. I drove home early today to avoid the afternoon shitfest. And it's not going to just disappear by tomorrow. It was slippery today from home to work. I even slid past my parking lot, and NOT on purpose.

Ugh.

Snow used to be cool. Now I hate it.

Snow is one of those things that is nice when you don't have to drive, work, go to school, or live in a major city. Sure..Chicago looks nice WHILE it is snowing, and even the next 12-24 hours after. But then it just gets dirty and the streets get slushy and it makes walking a pain in the ass. The suburbs retain the beauty of a good snowfall, and I am not working, and I am on break. So right now snow is not bothering me. However...back when I had to drive to school or to work, I hated the snow.

Also, the winter has been mild thus far. I think we hit single digits for like one night, but so far it's been pretty warm. I'm waiting for that cold snap where we have 30+ consecutive days of no temps above 30 like we've had for the past year or two.

also, we have had some good snow early this week, as well as a little a week ago.

I just got back from living in Ucluelet, van island for 2 months. Not until the last two days did it freeze. I had my first snowboard today, decent snow this time of year to be honest. My buddy broke his rib though. I primarily ride Big White and Silverstar but the new look at revelstoke mountain's got me. I'll probably ride it a halfdozen times cuz it's only 2 hours drive. I love BC cuz a few days ago I was surfing and now it's snow everywhere. I want to hit whistler this year before all hell breaks loose next season. all I want to do is snowboard.

You know what to do: camp out in a library and burn all the books you can find.
