Well, I've been meaning to rent the movie for a year or two, and it was finally in stock (someone must have been renting it over and over). So, last night I watched the short film.

In the off-chance that some of you (err, most of you) don't know about The Army of Darkness, it's pretty much a B-movie with loose connections to horror (very loose) and it sparked pretty much all the one-liners that Duke Nukem uses in post 3D (2D Nukem is the best!)

Of course, after having watched the movie, I wanted to play the new game (which I discovered while searching for the movie one day), titled Evil Dead: Fist Full of Boomstick. Thought the game is probably more based on the Evil Dead moives (which I will also have to see).

"I got news for you pal. You ain't leadin' but two things right now, Jack and ****, and Jack left town."

Hail to the King, Baby.

P.S. Best Skeleton graphics ever! ... Almost shat myself (well, not really... but funny nonetheless).

Yeah, I've seen the Evil Dead trilogy, it's most surely one of the best trilogy's out there. The first Evil Dead is legitimately scary, the second is scary and funny, and the third is just funny...A great mix of a horror and comedy, Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are da men...word.

Army of Darkness was more of a comedy than it was a horror. I really enjoyed it even though it was corny.

I saw a year or two ago at a friend's house. It was okay. I was kind of only half-paying attention 'cause I hate watching sequels before the originals.

I still haven't seen the Evil Dead movies although I would if I was given a chance to without spending money.

I loved the 2nd movie...especially the part when the skeletons are trying to break down the bridge and the leader shouts out put your back bones into it men. :D
Too bad I never saw the 1st and 3rd :(
