Looks like they're making an all new 2D Zelda for the Gameboy Advance, finally. The graphics looks a lot like 4 swords, which is fine by me. Its about time, thats all I can say. Take a look for yourself.

this actually means more to me than the new Cube zelda.

I really wanted more LTTP style graphics, but really, I've been wanting a new 2D Zelda (besides the other good GB ones) since A Link to the Past, so I can't complain.

it will probably feel more classic...like the old SNES/NES..(obviously)

But im still waiting for the GC one though...

Of course you'll want to watch the video.

It sounds kind of....weird... But so did Majora's Mask at first, so that's not too big of a hit.

Does it seem to you (you being everyone besides me) that all of the recent GB Zelda games are "concept" titles? Each one has something that is almost completely different from other Zelda titles before it, and none of them have yet been repeated...

The Oracle games had the seeds and rings and connectivity; FS had the multiplayer; The Minish Cap has the shrinking, etc.

Makes them all unique. Works for me.

I have noticed that. I have also noticed that I haven't really enjoyed them that much. I like them, because they are Zelda, but I don't spend a whole lot of time playing because I can't put it down. Like i do with other Zelda games.

You know I just realized, a few days ago I made a joke about how Nintendo would revolutionize the next Mario game by giving him a new hat. I mean, this is Zelda, but it's still pretty close.

Yeah...

It's kind of Capcom though.

You didnt enjoy the Oracle games? wow. I loved them, they are two of my favorite Zelda titles. I liked Ages better than Seasons, but they were both great. Collecting rings was a total blast, and I loved importing my collection from my ages game to my season's game.

I'm almost as psyched about this as I am about the GCN one.

You're lucky I read this before going to bed. lol. I'll add it to my "list" of things not to forget. Wow, it's getting LONG.

Oh, and JS, would it be blasphemy if I say that I enjoyed the oracles more than WW? ;)

WW was good...but I really really loved the oracle games. I dunno why, I just fell in love with them.

TheSlyMoogle
05-22-2004, 11:38 AM
I haven't even finished WW yet. Stupid Tri-Force Fetch quest pisses me off.

Seriously, it would have been great if they had put the Triforce in dungeons (The game seriously lacked dungeons in my opinion) and made me get the pieces that way.

Oh well.

Canyarion

Yeah TWW got boring in the end. They tried to make the game longer without putting much effort into it. :(

I saw a movie of this game and it looks pretty promising :D Better than TWW.
I just don't like Link's look.

I am very excited about this game. Thinking of another Zelda GBA title makes me all tingly inside. And this one looks especially interesting...with makes me extra tingly.

I just bought this today. I've opened it up, but I probably won't be playing it until tonight. I can't wait! :D

The label on the game is a really nice red/orange. It looks way better than most GBA labels.

I downloaded the ROM a while ago, got about halfway through and quit. Now I just bought it today, I'll be playing it some more. Hopefully it doesn't take me too long to get to where I was, but whatever.

It's an awesome game, tons of fun.

Hey Phil, speaking of the GBA, you wouldn't happen to have any extra recharge cable things for the SP would you?

My sisters on my ass to get it to my nephew still, haha.

But I havent heard much about this game.....I dont even know when it came out, im sure its in the thread somewhere, but meh.

If I had a GBA, I'd buy it. Just because its Zelda.

Dyne

Nah, I don't have an extra one. Just the ones for my own.

Maybe look at buying it at Nintendo.ca.

I still have to play Z:MC! It's sitting on my desk right now, leering at me..

This game was out in Europe more than a month ago. Yay! But I never bought it. Non-yay!

Do you have the golden SP?

Jason1
01-12-2005, 02:59 PM
Oh yea I forgot this one came out...I'll add it to my list of games I need to buy as soon as I have have time.

Its ironic really, you get a job to have enough money to buy all the games you want. Sure enough, once you get the job, you have plenty of money. But no time. Just no time. I keep telling myself im going to finish Echoes and POP2 before I buy anything new, but Its going to be tough...so many temptations.

Mmm, well I played this inbetween lectures here. I really really like it. I love the graphics and the music. I just got the Jabber nut (for those of you that have played.)

I can't wait to play it some more right now. I have like 2-3 hour breaks between my classes (due to bad scheduling) so I have plenty of time to enjoy this.

Been playing since the weekend. Very close to the end. It's a great game, the puzzles are well thought out and the look is just like a 2D version of WW. Even has many of the same characters. I just haven't gotten those feelings I got from Link's Awakening though. I miss talking to Marin by the ocean. :(

It's funny that 2 people here have the same problem as I have... Too many games, not enough time. :(

1 year ago, I used to buy almost every 1st party Nintendo game that came out.. Now I haven't bought anything in about 6 months. :p

I hate darknuts. In WW they were so fun and easy to battle. But now they're hard as hell. I miss timed A attacks. :(

So, do you suggest picking it up? I could possibly use some money on that game, if I thought it were worth it to get it now.

I'm having fun with the Minish Cap, but then again, I have fun with every Zelda game. The real kicker is that there aren't as many Temples as some of the other Zelda games out there, but that's a minor problem because there is a ton of other stuff to do.

I suggest it.

I just had to double post here, Im deep into Minish cap now, and Im still amazed at how well the 2D zelda formula works, even to this day. The dungeons are just as clever as ever, right when Im about to get frustrated and use a guide, I always seem to figure it out. Perfect pacing.
