Instead of gas or IV I got 10 locals. The top two came out easy but then I started to feel light-headed. :baby: They gave me oxygen for about 30 min and said they wanted to reschedule when I was feeling better but I insisted they continue. They had to saw through the lower two but they came out just fine. My mouth is still numb so I'm waiting for the pain to start. At least I don't have to deal with the after-effects of sedation. They say I can't have dr pepper for 3 days but I say that's a bunch of B.S. :uhh:

umm...how do you know when it's time to get your wisdom teeth out? and why have them ripped out rather than let them fall out on their own?

As long as they don't bother you, you can keep them. Right?

The way I can feel it with my tongue, there's room enough for my wisdom teeth... 2 are almost at full size, the 2 lower ones still have to come through.

My lower ones were pointing sideways, which is no good.

I've heard stories that the operation is terrible.

It's weird because I really don't have any pain. I mean I'm sore but my mouth isn't on fire like I thought it would be. And it's supposed to take me longer to heal than if I had had them out when I was 18.

next time im at the dentist im expecting to have to have mine pulled. the top left one has hurt like hell for a week twice. and every once and a while i'll wake up in the middle of the night with a sharp pain in it for like 2 seconds then it goes away.

On Monday, I have to go in so they can make sure everything is healing properly. I missing eating hard food. :)

Not necessarily, mine didn't hurt but I would have developed problems later in life.

Hell yeah! Dr. Pepper makes everything better, even wisdom teeth removals. Screw the dentists; drink DP!

:D
