Under your avatars some of you have those ribbons that represent certain diseases, and the programs trying to cure them and such, and Dyne even has a doughnut. I was just wondering where they came from.

If you have the FusionX style selected, click Cash Out in upper right corner. Down at the bottom is where you can buy ribbons for various diseases. The donut is a gift thing that Neo gave Dyne (random)

I think the second one violates size issues but if you could replace the bottom character into the top design, that might be cool.

It doesn't violate the restrictions. The maximum is 400 width and 125 height.

I guess I'll be using the first one then, although the second one required more skill to make. heh. Ironic.

But I've actually decided to use one that someone else made, a friend from GameSpot. He's excellent at making sigs, and I have a link to his profile in my signiture.

It's a little over the size constraint (very little), but I can't resize it because it's a .gif.

if i cut out the black background and put up a link to it would you use that version? i cant stand colored box backgrounds it just looks like it doesnt belong there. at the very least i could add a nice border around it. but im pretty sure i could cut it out all together.



As for Signitures. Anyone have one they want made? i have a few nice backgrounds i'd like to use in sigs, but i cant think of anything to make them themed on.

I don't have one that I want made, but I was wondering what you thought about my recent sigs I made. Since your my number 1 critic here, I was interested in yoru opinions. The one with Axl Low was a combined use of filters (and somehow I got a really awesome fire effect), and the "Weapon V" one was my first ever sig that I used brush's in. Just ignore the text...I realize that the fonts I used are horrible, but I recently downloaded some more (including the official Wolverine font), so I'll be updating it pretty soon.

I was also wondering, do you ever use brush's in your backgrounds? If so, do you make your own or download them?

And here is another sig I made:
(It's designed for Gamespot, so the size restriction is wrong, and the background color isn't right either, so ignore that)

post a pic up of the ones your refering to, i remember the axl one, but dont know of the other your talking about.

that last one is nice. Altho im wondering, Why use a color at all where the blue is on that? your using photoshop arent you? cut the color out, make it transparent and save as a gif. then it'll work on whatever color message board you put it on.




As for my backgrounds. my preference is using brushes, (altho lately i've been playin around with the 3D Transform on photoshop)



thats all brushes. i usually mix and match brushes from different things. many i've gotten from www.deviantart.com some i make myself. but since i dont know what im lookin for when i do it. downloading is usually easier, cuz i just throw stuff on untill it has a look to it. lol.

so that pic is what i would start a sig with, then begin adding stuff ontop of that.

if I save it as a .gif, edges tend to get jaggy.

Here are the two sigs I was referring to:


(ignore the fonts on this one...I'll be fixing them soon. I used brush's to do the background on this one. By some wierd twist of fate, I ended up making it look like claw marks.)

both thoes are really good, overall i like the axl one more, but that could chagne with the font change on the otherone, also i would add a slightly darker border.

And I'm sure that you already know about this site, but if you ever want more fonts, it's a great site to use: http://www.dafonts.com

And sometimes I get jaggies when I save it as a gif, and sometimes I dont. :( I usually just play it safe and go with .jpg.

dont remember what font it is actually. thats an older sig.

and yea, i've been to that site. actually i have a zip file with over 10,000 fonts on it. lol

problem is if i try to install them all, any program that tries to use fonts runs super slow. so its really pointless actually. heh.
