no one i know has ever had a prob with sony first gen hardware.

first gen sony hardware is the same as first gen MS or Nintendo. everyone has thier share of problems.

What is that feeling like? There is no need to apologize. Your purpose is anyone who thinks like that. That is a rather sweeping generalization about people. Is it the only one?
And second?A very serious problem?

Dylflon had his first gen PS2 crap out. Now you know someone.

Even Playstation hardware experts agree all first-generation PS2s were crap. (see: Panajev at Gaming-Age). Not to mention the PSX, which also had it's fair share of problems for the first run of models. Sony's not even going to support the first model PSX owners with software upgrades.

Also, point out some first-generation Game Boy Advance problems. Or maybe some N64 problems. Xbox's was apparent, but how about pointing out Dreamcast's first gen problems too?

i meant people i KNOW. not nicknames refered to on a message board.

and you say "you must not have many friends then." well then i could just say "your friends must treat thier consoles like a soccer ball"

Sony had no more problems with thier console then MS or Nintendo. bob down the street had his xbox crap out. guess that means no one should buy MS first gen hardware. and his neighbor billy had his gamecube crap out.

Hey, guess we should all just never buy first gen hardware anymore

Show me evidence, or your argument means nothing to me. I will dig up PSX problems if you think first-gen Sony hardware isn't more of a problem than the others.

I do know that first generation GBA SP's and DS's had dead pixels.

you need to get out in the real world more man. lol. its an argument on a message board. when would it EVER mean anything?

you can dig up whatever you want to dig up. im simply stating that all first gen hardware has its problems, not just one biasedly picked one over the others.

However the GC did have less problems this gen then others.
DC had a TON, PS2 and Xbox about the same.
you want the info on that? find it yourself, im not your teacher.

We're ending it there, then. You shouldn't have said anything in the first place if you didn't want to be intellectually challenged.

just as close minded as what your saying.
think about it man, do you go out after on here and brag to all your friends that you won an argument on a message board? its not a court, its a place to speak your mind and your opinions, i have better things to do then to search around the internet to prove points i already know myself. its one thing to remember where you read something and show it to others, its totally another thing to set yourself out on a mission to find something just to prove a point that doesnt really matter to begin with.

if i come across it again i'll surely show you. but im not going out and searching high and low for it.

Hahaha, still the defining image of our era. Everybody loses if somebody's been named a winner.

Nobody knows the definition of an argument anymore. Most of the world doesn't even know what a critical thinking course is.

But good lord, you guys complain my head is up Nintendo's ass so far but yet you guys defend Sony's decision to not supply with demand.

Don't act like everyone who disagrees with you is biased. I don't consider you a fanboy, you just have different preferences and beliefs than I do, and I'd appreciate it if you could think the same for me. I provided valid points opposing your statements on what Sony is doing, and all you did in response was basically call me a fanboy.

I'm not defending Sony like some stupid drone who feels the need to stick up for a company, I'm just arguing another side of the points being given. If you guys want to have a respectible and mature argumentative talk about this, I'm all for it.

maybe I'm blind, but I didnt see where DM commented on whether or not you were partial to Nintendo. he was arguing with logic...
