Okami is the next best thing to Wind Waker. A wonderous and magical game. The wind beneath my wings.

Sony has very little following on this forum, and in any instance to show a little power, it's shot down by fanboys alike. You can hide your intentions all you want with your clever simantics and grammatical manipulation.... but in reality you really don't want the PS3 to achieve these kind of graphics before the Revolution does.

Have youe ever thought that everyone's just being realistic? I don't know if the PS3 will be capable of performing as well as the trailers indicate, but I'd rather believe that it can't and be surprised than believe it can and be disappointed. Its not a personal insult towards you or even to Sony by saying that perhaps the trailers exaggerate a bit. We've been disappointed before by tech demoes; by Nintendo, by Sony, by everyone.

Just because someone doesn't jump for glee over a demo doesn't mean they're Nintendo fanboys or against Sony. You know you're a Sony fanboy (or at least I hope so, considering your new name and all), so realize that some people, fanboys or not, are not going to be so excited as you are about things and may be a little more critical.

Its not bloody personal.

Now... stop doubting such a future, because it's a bright one to look forward to. Those who doubt the future will inevitably not be a part of it. The Next-Gen graphics look real and it's coming whether we're ready for this leap or not.

This is really stupid. The only thing keeping someone away from the next-gen's "bright future" is their budget.

This goes back to my saying a long time ago. If a Nintendo fan says something bad about Sony, you will get comments like this (see above).

Done!

Sony Ps3 is the best. It has no problems, and rules so much. The controller is ergonomically designed especially for smaller handed people and had no inspiration from a banana OR boomerang. The sleek frame looks completely different from the Ps2, which is a great refreshing change.......and it's a nice size, so it can fit just about anywhere!

I absolutely LOVE the PS3!

Sony has been known to over promise and under deliever in the technical aspects of their systems. When the PS2 was first revealed they showed amazing footage that they "hoped" games could look like, but it just wasn't possible.

You can expect to see amazing graphics and details, much better than the current Gen, just don't get over excited. These CGI clips (because most of them are. George Harrison is a liar), are just examples of what the PS3 can be capable of.

Most systems are capable of much more than what is done with them. Sure, it's nice to have a system that CAN play CG during gameplay...blah blah blah.

Games only look as good as the amount of money that's put into the game. Lots of games on our current systems could look spectacular but it's just not worth it to game companies to push the systems to the limit. They've got a space for your hard-earned money sat aside already.

you should really take a look at that "footage" they showed in 1999...because although it took about the 3rd gen of games to show it, the PS2 has pumped out graphics that surpass the "footage"

I'm not doubting the graphics of the game, because I'm pretty sure PS3 will be able to show graphics like that. But, as many have pointed out, it's way too scripted and has way too many perfect animations taking place. That's why we think it's CGI.
