But seriously, as you get older, you tend to acquire more wardrobe. In order to match the increasing size of wardrobe, you need matching shoes. I do know why some of you do not have as many shoes. It's because you are relatively young and may not need dress shoes or any other particular shoes (except sneakers) since your activities are limited. But as you grow older and your activities change from skipping ropes to planning budget schedules for your client, neccessity for more shoes grows. Take my father, for example. He has about 20 different pairs of DRESS shoes. That's not an outrageous figure either. Just think that you have to dress up for work everyday. You wouldn't want to wear the same pair of dress shoes over and over. |
You could think of it as an age aquired kinda deal. But quite frankly, I'm 16 and I just don't care. I have two for school, one for formal events such as church and band concerts, and my yard work shoes which are always "retired" school shoes. If you have the money, do what floats your boat, but otherwise, I would never blow cash on more shoes/clothes than the bare necessity. I have too many hobbies and interests to be wasting my money on fashion...

I could easily have another pair of shoes, but I really don't need them, so I don't borhter to get them.. no use spending money on something you're not going to use.
