I had an idea for 30 Days of Night while on the bus.

I don't know if it would work.

But like you set up like 2-3 safe houses or whatever. And each safe house can let in a certain number of people each night.

The person(s) who are left out of the house will either die or be turned into vampires.

It is possible for a vampire to get into the house and when it does. It becomes a way for people to start killing off people inside.
