My girlfriend (Elaine) and myself met at Simon Fraser University in a poetry class and started dating about a month after we met. The university runs a student newspaper called the Peak and whenever we read their humour section we were disappointed by how crappy it was. We both agreed that we could make better comics than they could and so we started making our own comics. We ran them in the Peak for one semester but stopped when the humour editor changed. We hate the new humour editor so much that we don't submit our comics to the paper. I'm currently waiting for him to graduate so I can start running it there again.

The characters represent myself and Elaine. Of course they aren't really a lot like us (except in some of our comics inspired by actual conversations we've had) but they embody the sillier elements of our personality. The characters (us) are mainly there for identifiability but also sort of as a self-reflexive element to the comic since they aren't characters we made up. They're just vessels for the silly things we think up.

I write the comic and Elaine draws. We dabble in eachother's processes sometimes. Elaine has directly inspired a few of the comics as well as come up with the general ideas for a number of them. I sometimes draw small things within the comics that she is having trouble with including some objects but mostly expressions.

We've only ever had two guest writers. One of them being our very own Fox6 (Cam) who has entirely written a few comics and also wrote a few with me. And we have one comic that was written by Raphael Bob-Wakesburg of the Olde English sketch comedy troup.

Currently in the editing process of a short film we shot last semester.

-I'm Nathan! I turned 22 a week ago!
-I'm 6'0" and 145lbs!
-I was a teacher's favorite at my magnet elementary school before I freaked out and turned to homeschooling in the 6th grade, which I got bored of upon completing the 8th!
-I have no plans to go back to school outside of maybe getting my GED, if only to stop people from talking to me in a condescendingly slow, hyper-enunciated form of English.
-I work at a local sandwich shop, but I don't make the sandwiches! I have to turn my brain off in order to deal with the steady stream of customers throughout the lunch rush!
-I'm frequently described as either eccentric or an asshole!
-I used to have hair that was longer than most you'd find on females!
-I tend to leave social gatherings without saying goodbye for the sake of not causing a bunch of people to stare at me and feel obligated to wave!
-I have 0 confidence in myself and in others!
-My boss tells me that I'm the only person he's ever met who's turned down free money! Taking it makes me feel guilty (what did I do to deserve it?) and money, outside of "enough to get by", is for people who believe in success as defined in society and that they have a future!
-I don't really care about the starving children in Africa, or most other people or important events! Sometimes I question whether or not I can form a meaningful relationship with anybody!
-I have a number of acquaintances who are into philosophy, which I see as the art of making a mountain out of a mole hill, and even more pointless than most things that the hip kids are studying in college these days.
-I don't see a point to life, but it doesn't get me down and I don't just mope about! I'm more into zoning out, staring off into space, and not remembering events from the previous day!
-I fail to comprehend most social situations, and do not understand how to, nor see the appeal in, making small talk!!
-Some people think I sound scary on paper, and others have taken to simply referring to me as "Creepy", but I'm frequently complimented on my sense of humor, my photography, and my devilishly good looks, and can guarantee 100% that I'm less harmful than your average Joe Six-Pack!

In the real world I'm known as Scott. I've lived in Ontario all my life, currently working in Ottawa where it's cold and I shovel snow frequently. I studied both traditional and digital animation in college for 3 years, I now work at a studio in town, helping to produce awesome cartoon shows like Carl Squared, Jacob Two Two, 6teen, Fairly Odd Parents... and a bunch of other crap you probably never heard of if you live in the States and don't have Teletoon!

When I'm not working, I play video games! They are funs.

Well, I was here for a while before the rest. I was invited by Nemesis, but he's not around anymore. I had a forum of my own for a year, but the guy who payed for it decided to be a major asshole and cut it off out of the blue with no chance for me to renew anything. Most of the crew was there, except Fox 6 I think. After a long while, and after I started posting, I invited Dylflon here, and then most of the others followed.

As for general info, I'm Phil, 21, currently 220 and 5'11". Fourth year of university, but I need to take a fifth because the planning is horrible here. I need to take two more courses that happen only, surprise, next fall, and next spring. It really blows.

I got my ticket into the game industry through my girlfriend's old crush, who we waited in line for a Wii with. I got a job as Development Support at Propaganda Games, where I worked on Turok for 9 months. However, I'm stuck in the middle of finishing school at the same time so it's going to be a bit of a manuever getting my industry experience working on further Propaganda projects and finishing my degree at the same time. We'll see how it goes! I did work part-time on the last 3 months of Turok at Propaganda Games while still holding a full courseload at school, which a lot of people would find amazing and possibly mesmerizing, if not completely unheard-of.
