Lost Odyssey seems pretty good so far. I expected a lot less from some impressions. It's extremely competent. It doesn't take risks, but I had an urge to play a traditional JRPG, and it satisfies that well. Like the art design and music quite a bit too.

I think most games have the capacity to disappoint you, if you allow them to.
