The demo will be out on October 31 (halloween or so I've been told). Who's going to play it? Would be nice to get some games going. :)

I'll be playing the PC demo.

This looks far more enticing than Fallout 3,. I still think they need to make a game with slow zombies though...zombie panic source was a lot of fun because the Zombie's had speed limitations, it kind of evened the playing field. And, the reality is in a real post-Apocalyptic world ammo is not going to be easy to find. I want a game like Romero's Dawn of the Dead, one where you have to use your environment and improvise to survive.

But, left 4 dead still looks like a lot of fun. Might as well post this intro video they just released:

I don't either. It's a mod. Albeit...a really well developed, polished, and epic mod...but a mod. I plan on picking it up sometime during or after the Christmas holiday season. In the mean time I have school and other things to keep me distracted.

I have to say though, if its quality is on par with Counter-Strike and TF2, then it will be a blast to play and will have tons of replay value.

Well the demo is out on PC and 360.
Not sure about PC, but I know 360 you need a special code for.

Right now playing single player since my Xbox list either doesn't have it or is busy playing GoW 2.

I'm afraid that any 'unofficial' demo downloads will interfere with my Steam account... Can you shed a light on this?

I think I'll just wait till the demo is on Steam, so I can play it with buddies.

They have Left 4 Dead billboards in downtown Chicago in the Ohio/Grand area (by the Rock and Roll McDonalds/Hard Rock Cafe/Rock Bottom/Pizzeria Uno, etc). The billboards are really cool.
