I'm just taking a 4 month General Trades program. Show me a bunch of different stuff, let me learn a little bit about all of it. Figure out what I want to do

Well, I'll still be working at Epic as a software developer. I feel like I got quite lucky in my job search. I only sent my resume to two companies, interviewed at both, got an offer from the second.

Now I'm a 23 year old making near 6 digits doing something I like to do (don't hate doing at least). Thanks life!

Wow, Didn't know you worked at Epic, Yoda. Congrats even though it seems you've been there a bit already :p

You must be pretty good at what you do then. What does your job as a software developer involve?

Developing software of course :P

Nothing too exciting though, some research and design and a whole lot of coding.

And yeah, I've been there about a year and a half already.

I should also specify that this is not Epic Games. I wish it was Epic Games. That would be fantastic.

Continuing my internship as a software developer at Perot Systems, working full time for the summer, same as last year.

I'm just at EA doing video capture for Need for Speed: Shift. You'll see my work soon enough, in the form of developer diaries and E3 trailers.

Did anyone watch Beetleborgs? The guy I work with did voice acting for the show, and voiced two villains over the two seasons. Hahahaha. I wondered why his voice sounded familiar. He's also worked as assistant director on a ton of films, including Freddy Got Fingered, Day After Tomorrrow, and I, Robot.

I loved that show back in the day.

I may have mentioned it a while back, but this semester for my graphics class I designed a video game (fps doom-like game). I got an email from that prof today (we demoed our games to the class a few days ago) saying he was impressed with my work, and offered me an internship at our University developing a game to work with his motion sensor system.

Too bad the pay is significantly less than my current internship, it sounds very fun. :\
