Re: Finals: Crab vs. Platypus.

Clearly there has been some ringers in this voting system, as 2 votes for the crab are from people who don't post.

To count those votes, or to not count those votes.
That is the question.

Would still put the Crab up by one, and a person did post in the thread.

But yeah... hmm if it swings the votes too much (like in the case of a tie) I think disqualify it.

I move for a recount. The legitimacy of this poll is now in question.

Re: Finals: Crab vs. Platypus.

I don't understand why we would have a recount. Before the 2 supposed "questionable votes" Crab was winning by one. I just voted for Crab so now 2 votes swing in favor of Crab despite the 2 votes in question. And no rules were made clarifying that have you have to post on the forum to vote in the polls.

If you guys want to encourage active participation and discussion from people who don't post then get rid of polls. Caveat emptor.

Edit: CRAB POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111

Yeah I agree with KG here, unless the margin is narrowed, there really is no point since the votes wouldn't swing it on way or another.

And we can actually see all who voted anyhow.

Just because I have not posted in years is no reason to discount my vote, I still browse the forums from time to time, I would of come across these polls eventualy anyway even if my brother had not phoned me.

haha good point, I didn't say I would of found them and voted though, just that I would of come across them :p And if that was the case, assuming crab wins, I'd of been happy it did. Platypus are just lame.

There is nothing wrong with contacting old members in a bid to encourage them to come back to GT is there? If they so happened to vote of their own free will that is their porogative and I see their votes to be just as worthy as everyone else's. It's not cheating, these are real people that have in fact been members for many years.
