Mine (Slim) is working fine so far. Haven't been looking for general reports though.

Plus I really like how the Slim looks compared to the Fatty. The Fatty looks like a video game console that happens to play Blu-Ray movies. The slim looks a Blu-ray player that happens to play video games. Take your pick.

Looking at that picture of the slim arises the question: "Where the fuck are the USB slots?"

I think that's one in the bottom right... I believe the Slim has no card reader?

That looks like an SD slot, not a USB port.
USB port = the only way to recharge your controller.

According to this picture of the slim, they should be in the bottom left...two instead of 4, though:
