Okay, here is the deal. I am pretty confident I am going to die this round by the mafia, which is why I am going to tell you good people what I know before I bite the bucket.

I am the vigilante on odd numbered rounds. I said this in my very first post if you look back. This allowed mansecret (the seer) to seer me the first round, and we built an alliance the second round.

I had reasonable suspicions that schadenfreude and magus were both mafia, and encouraged our alliance to get them out of the game (I killed schadenfreude with my power).

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do now, but I am confident we had / have a leak in our alliance, and it's either thatmariolover or teuthida. Don't ask how this happened (stupidity?), but it might actually help in the end.

I am fairly certain thatmariolover is the one who is in the mafia, and teuthida is innocent. Because of this, I PMed thatmariolover and asked him who he thought we should vote for. He gave me some names, but also told me he trusts takegiantsteps, which leads me to believe takegiantsteps is the second mafia member.

So, here is what I think we should do. Let's vote out takegiantsteps, have the vigilante kill thatmariolover, and see what happens. If all of this backfires we still have a majority voting power, and will know to go after teuthida as the leak. Either way, we keep the majority and keep hope alive!

As sound as your theory is, I have not spoken to thatmariolover; the only player I formed a "pact/agreement" with was Xantar, who got killed off by the vigilante. I also talked to BaB, and the three of us were hoping to form a group. Unfortunately, you killed off Xantar with your vigilante power--I'm not sure why. If you are the vigilante on odd rounds, you killed one of our more valuable villagers...with no real reason.

Of course this doesn't affect your claim that I'm mafia, although it does bring your judgment into question.

Let's take a look at your voting record:

Round 1- You first voted for BaB, retracted and voted for me instead. You supposedly used your "vigilante" power to kill off Xantar, who did not act suspiciously in the least. You could have killed me, since you said I was "suspicious," but you didn't. Why?
Round 2- You said "The vigilante is quite the idiot." Then, you voted for BaB again, retracted and instead voted for Schadenfreude.
Round 3- Voted for Combine 017

Due to my relative inactivity (at least compared to the other players), the only way I can defend myself is by saying: "I'm not mafia.'

I listed the people I think are suspicious. Thatmariolover is on the list. I also think you're suspicious, because you cannot prove you are the vigilante. I feel like testing your theory, though. Of course, this just means the other vigilante will probably kill me. Oh well!

Why would you not trust ne tml, I honestly don't think I've done anything to lose (or earn, for that matter) trust?

Argh, this round has confused me immensely! Should I go with Nighthawk's theory from last round or trust Bond? Tough decision.

Or maybe choose neither, and revenge vote for tml.. :)

I agree. I can tell you guys that it isn't me. I got no way to really PROVE that statement, but then again, I don't think my voting has been skewed any which way. I'm not sure about mariolover to jump on the band wagon yet, but I'll you this much, I still distrust how silent Nighthawk has been. I still vote Nighthawk unless you can give me a solid reason not to. And if nothing else, my vote for Mario won't change the tide, but perhaps my vote for Nighthawk will keep us reminding about his suspicious behavior.

I just saw Bond's post... hm... I can see the logic in that to go after Mario. But I'm going to keep my vote, only because you guys are going to vote off Mario ANYWAY, and I still am suspicious of Nighthawk.

yeah looks like tml is off. i still don't know what's up between bond and theuthida. maybe the seer got to them? i don't know.

and know bond says he's the vigilante. pretty confusing stuff going around.

oh and my silence is because i'm at school most of the + i live in a different time zone + wow

don't know who to vote for and don't want to join the bandwagon.

I really don't mean to be rude Bond, but how many games is this that you've been the vigilante? In at least three different games we've played you've been the vigilante.

I have a really hard time believing that you could stretch chance so far. Either you're lying and you're mafia or you're abusing your power to get a role over and over and over.

Regardless of if you hit or missed, you've systematically targeted the only proper resistance we've had all game.

Those were all blind votes. I just couldn't wrap my mind around the dialogue and theories, so I'm just going with my instincts. Which have been wrong, I admit, but they were all I could get from some suspicious posts..

I hope this works, I'm sorry if it doesn't, but I felt like we needed to do something somewhat drastic, as I am confident the mafia will kill me this round, which will narrow our powered villagers down to two I believe?

Trust me, I would much rather just be a villager than the vigilante four times in a row. It's a lot less to worry about.

Remember, even if this fails there are two mafia left. That still gives you guys the voting majority for many rounds to come.
