nice system. and it sounds great... if you have more room... yeah I think you should get a different set up.. bigger speakers sound much better...
for instance i have: polk rti100 ($530 each) speakers for my fronts polk csi40 (399.99) for my center and polk rti70 for my rear (399.99 a piece) and a polk psw450 for a sub (499) i also have a onkyo txds797 for my receiver... that system sounds phenom. all put together with monster cable. it's the only way to go... if you wanna know the diff between all sound formats, talk to me on AIM crashAG or email gametavern@hotmail.com and i'll help you out. i know all !!!! |

Hmm. My parents bought me a Sony Mini-System. Front 2 speakers are 200W, and the centre and rear speakers are 50W each. The front speakers pump out some pretty decent bass, but I'm gonna get a separate sub as soon as I figure out where the hell to fit it in my small room. Only gripe I have is that it doesn't have optical input. But I just got a load of RCA cables and connected the signals from the DVD player that way. Quality loss, I know, but it only cost over $1100 AUD. But it's still ten times better than most of my friend's set-ups (which mainly consist of hooking the left audio channel of the DVD player into the mono input of the TV... fools...)
