And IGN listed a number of complaints they had with the game, and gave like 3 sub-sections they review like 6/7ish, and then give the game a 9.something...

Now I know games can still be good with problems and "Ok" graphics and the like, and I havn't played SMS yet, but from what I can tell from what they said in their review, it doesn't seem like it deserves quite 9-ish...

But I dunno... *shrugs*

Edit: Oh, and don't pay attention to Gekko... He hates anything unless it has monkeys in it... Or something like Socom where he can pretend his a big tough military man...

Bah. I like a few games without monkeys in it.

Hmm.... I think that the graphics in Mario suck arse. So I think that their review on Mario was the greatest review of all time.

I think that they are not biased at all.





Now, back to my real thoughts. SMS graphics are good, but obviously the editor who reviewed it thought differently. So how is it biased if he didn't like the game and because of that, gives it a low score?

What darkMaster means is that, the graphics arent everything, he rarely even mentions how well the gameplay is, and isnt that the best part? I think so. And the music is really good too, he didnt even mention that the game was very fun to play. If you review a game, and basically talk about graphics only, and then give it a 8 without telling why, (even though 8 isnt a bad score), I think that is not fair. He should have pointed out the flaws in the game's gameplay and stuff, you know?

If the game was called Mik Mak : The White Man Killer, we wouldn't be having this conversation becauase it would be an original idea, and won't have the following of a bunch of fanboys to whine and complain that the reviewer is biased.

whether i think something is biased or not is my opinion. i hope your not refering to me as a fanboy, because theres no way in hell that i am. i stick up for the games that i like, if someone gives it a bad review then thats their opinion, and i respect people's opinions. but a biased opinion is something completely different all together. should they have a guy who doesnt like rpgs or square review kh? i think not, obviously he would give it a bad score based upon his biased point of view. and i never said i disagreed with their kh review, nor did i say that i disagreed with any of their reviews. i am merely saying that some of the things that they have said in their reviews are biased.
