Yes, the Canadian ladies love The Strangler... it must be my sexy American accent.:D

The Duggler 02-17-2003 12:07 PM

Hey Strangler, what have you been up to up here? I'm just curious.

Professor S 02-17-2003 12:44 PM

I'm mainly working like a damn dog. I'm here on business, but I get away most nights to go out on the town. My vendor takes me out to the clubs and pubs and the women are SO friendly:D

I went ot the Falls, which was underwhelming. I also went to Toronto and got lost repeatedly. Canada has the worst road marking EVER. I can't find the QEW to save my life, as the only signs for it appear to be on the QEW.

I love Tim Horton's, it is the Mecca of Coffee. I love Ex:D

Happydude 02-17-2003 03:25 PM

where are you on buisness now?

The Duggler 02-17-2003 03:27 PM

What kind of business do you do up here?

Professor S 02-17-2003 03:36 PM

I'm in St. Catharines right now, doing a marketing Campaign for Verizon Communications. I'm setting up a shop here. Hard work but its going very well so I should be getting a fat promotion out of it along with a nice raise.

If it works out I'll be up here in Canada a lot opening up more shops. I have to wear a tie though, which sucks.

I won't mind it too much though, as I've met a great girl. Hopefully I'll be like a sailor and have a different girlfriend at every shop I open. :D

The Duggler 02-17-2003 03:50 PM

Hard work, but still have time for the forums hey? ;)

Professor S 02-17-2003 04:15 PM

Yeah, its been a slow day today. All the hard work is finally paying off. I know what I did is working when I don't have to be running around all the time.:D

That's quite ignorant, considering you know next to nothing about Canada.

If I'm not mistaken Canada has 55,000 troops I think. Plus, Canada has always had excellent special forces going back as far as WW2 I believe, when they took out the artillery on D-Day by climbing a sheer cliff to get to them.
Actually it dates back to WW1, when Canada:
1. Made the first poison gas attack at Ypres
2. Won the battle through mud at Passchendaele
3. let's not forget the glorious victory of Vimy Ridge

And I'm pretty sure we have more than 55,000 troops, over 600 000 Canadians served in WW1 alone (although that includes other miltary serivces such as the Navy), and that was over 80 years ago.

Professor S 02-17-2003 04:21 PM

I said that because I was watching a Canadian news show recently and they said the Canadian Military had 55,000 troops. Maybe they were just talking about one area of the military though.

Joeiss 02-17-2003 04:30 PM

During the War years, Canada had a sweet military. Now, we have about 55,000 men, like Strangler said.

And the Battle for Vimy Ridge was not glorious, Crono. That was one of the worst battles (death wise) that Canada has fought.

DarkMaster 02-17-2003 04:35 PM

Why dont we pose this question instead: Who has greater health care?

It's always about military power when it comes to discussions like these, unfortunately some of you seem to forget that Canada has the best health care system in the world, and its because of that that we have little money for military.

and what about America's health care? To be frank, it sucks. Canada, Japan, most of Europe, among others, all have better health care systems than America. The USA might have the strongest military in the world, but IMO, I prefer excellent health care.

no battles are truly glorious, but it was a triumph for Canada, and a major boost in morale. This battle proved to the world that we can fight, and therefor it is worth noting.

Yeah, I see your point. But still, it was a hard fought victory for those who had survived.

Jason1 02-17-2003 05:51 PM

Yawn...Canada talk makes me bored.:p

Joeiss 02-17-2003 08:04 PM

Idiotic fanboy talk makes me angry. :p
