Good for Ichiro.

And I though that their family names come first, and their first name come second.... Just like Yao Ming.

Different countries.

And Ichiro is his first name. Suzuki is his last name.

I think it is just because of what Fox6 said.

And yeah George Sisler set the record in 154 games, and Ichiro took 159 (or 158? 160?) but we're not going to talk about that.

Great job by Ichiro. He's my favorite baseball player, and the Mariners are my favorite team. It's been that way since 4th or 5th grade. Though my dad is from Philly, and my mom is from Chicago, the Mariners are my favorite. Second are the Phillies, then the Cubs, and the Red Sox. All four teams haven't been too successful in the playoffs or the World Series..

Dont get me wrong, the Mariners have been one of my favorite teams for a very long time (when I was a kid I liked them because Nintendo owned them, and when I grew up that liking just kind of stuck) and I think it's awesome that Ichiro beat the record. He is by far one of the best (and probably the best) hitter in a long time. He has proven that by breaking a record that no one else could, even with the 8 extra games.

I was just pointing out that our athaletes dont seem to be as good as they were back in the day.
