Religion wasn't started to oppress people, it was started to explain what couldn't be explained. A cave man sees a volcano erupt and lava pours down and destroys the forest, he assumes the volcano is a god.

I don't know how it happened, but eventually people started fighting over whose gods were real and it started a lot of wars...

We don't believe in the Trinity. I thought most christian religions don't believe that anymore. There are so many scriptures that proof/show that it ain't true. Ask me about it if you want.
