Well, they'll probably throw that into the next movie.

Does anyone know of alfonso cuaron is directing the goblet of fire?

Naw it's a new director for the 4th movie as well, I think that was agreed upon during the production of this movie, but not too sure.

Just know he is out. Forget the new director.

Awe checked it out, directed by a guy named Mike Newell

Awesome. I didnt know this yet either, but it sounds cool.

And I finally got to watch the third movie the other day. :D It was the best movie in the series so far, and I really really enjoyed it.

I hope so. I hope it is the longest one yet, because the longer it is, the longer I can enjoy it. A 1000 pages will last almost 3 days.

It's release date isn't known, how can you expect cover art? It could be 2 years from now...

I don't necessarily. Her last book was filled with a bunch of useless crap. It seemed like she wrote it knowing that she had to exceed the fourth book's length.

Quality over quantity.

I guess I was expecting too much of her? the 3rd book improved greatly, the 4th book was like the 3rd book but only much longer, and the 5th book was a tincy bit longer but didn't have the same polish that the 4th book had. It seemed to me like she's writing the books because she has a contract and not because she really wants to tell a story.

Compared to the 4th book(starting off with the quidditch world cup) it wasn't as good.

I enjoyed the 5th book, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't nearly as good as it could have been given her previous two books.

LOL GM, you quoted my post like I said that 2 days ago. Look at the date, it was the 30th of June.

Well, he proved you wrong, didn't he? :D

I can't wait for the next book. The half-blood prince, by the way, has been said by Rowling to be neither Harry or Voldemort. Can't wait!

Just maybe...

Neville Longbottom?

I can't remember if he's halfblood.

He's pureblood.

But for all we know, Rowling could take one of these characters we "think" are pureblood, and find some way for them not to be.

I personally think it will be character that has been mentioned before, but hasn't played a large role at all.

Re: Harry Potter!!

however, I think Hermoine is a good candidate considering she's half. and we already know it. It would explain her natural talent for magic.

however, that would also be assuming that she is male. :p

Re: Harry Potter!!

They could call it Half Blood Prince and when they find out they would say "I thought it was a prince!"

and then they go "it's really a princess"

Blackmane 03-16-2005 08:28 PM

Re: Harry Potter!!

Basically, we have no idea what kind of twist Rowling will pull in this book to make the title work. It should be a fun ride.

I will, however, keep my guess that the Half-Blood prince is just a title of some sort, and Hermione will fill its role (even though she is female).

Also, who else thinks Hermione and Ron will hook up in this book? Maybe Hermione and Harry?

Vampyr 03-16-2005 09:00 PM

Re: Harry Potter!!

I personally think Hermione and Ron are much much much more likely. She has hinted at it so many times. And she has posted on her website saying "I can't believe that it isn't obvious."

I want Cho back. :D

Maybe you were being sarcastic, but she's not half-blood. Both of her parents are muggle dentists.

But as for who is the Half Blood Prince, I'm not even going to hazard a guess. :D

Why would it being quick time cause any problems for you?
