Making my way through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the forever game. I've got like 70 hours into it and I think I'm closing in on "almost done". I'm really enjoying it but it'd be nice to be able to wrap it up this weekend. We'll see.

FFVII: Rebirth comes out in a couple of weeks, but I'd also like to replay Remake before that. Not sure if I'll be able to squeeze it in.

It’s weird I randomly thought about these forums and randomly remembered my password. Lol. Wonder how everyone has been and how everyone’s gaming preferences have evolved.. who’s married, who’s dead, go for kids or grandkids lol..who’s in jail too! But anyway..

I’m firmly playing Baldurs Gate 3 and FFVII rebirth. Retiring from NBA 2k after a quarter century of wasting money on it lol

Speaking of XIV, I did make my way through VII Remake (blazed through on "New Game Plus") and started Rebirth, but it is long. I really enjoy interacting with the VII character in much better graphical fidelity and voice acting, but I'm not a huge fan of the way they're playing with the story in a meta sense. Wish it was more of a strict retelling of the original story.

XIV Dawntrail is coming up soonish, though. I've been slowly replaying the story with my wife and I'd like to catch up before Dawntrail comes out, though, so I've been spending a little more time on that. We just got to Endwalker and we only get time to play sometimes on weekends so might take right up to Dawntrail to get it done.

I kind bounced off of VII Rebirth. Its fun, I like it, I just don't know if I have it in me currently to play it for another like 80 hours. I do enjoy having some premium time with the characters and setting, but I'm not a huge fan how they've adjusted some of the narrative. Kind of wish RPGs in general could have stayed at a brisk 40ish hours (or less) rather than bloating the playtime, but its especially egregious here when you can compare directly to the OG.

I didn't have a Playstation back in the day so I never beat them.

Wow! The old noggin retained the password. Gametavern never dies. Well, the moderators might have.

I’m playing through SteamWorld Heist 2. I’ve enjoy the SteamWorld games since Dig on the 3DS. Shame the developer has slashed staff. Highly recommend the series.

Have recently played Balatro , Dead space remake, and resident evil 3 remake. All played on PC. Randomly tried Mudrunner but I just couldnt get into it.

I am currently playing Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope on my switch. I am enjoying it.

Anyone getting the Switch 2 on Launch day? I probably wont but will probably pick one up within the 1st year or 2 after launch.

Interesting to see a little life on this forum!

The switch 2 announcement actually sold me into buying a steam deck. Waiting on it to arrive now

Really? What did you not like about the Switch 2? I have watched a bit of Digital Foundrys coverage of the switch 2, and seems that in terms of raw power its in the ballpark of the Steam Deck, especially in docked mode. Might be a bit less powerful in handheld mode then a steam deck. But overall they seemed to agree it seems to be a decent machine. I wish I could play Prime 4 on it but will probably just play it on my OG Switch.

A lot of it has to do with me being done with consoles for the most part. I kind of like knowing that if I buy a game now I can 99% be sure I can play it in 15-20 years without worrying about “is it backwards compatible?”

Replayed Mad Max recently and it's amazing with an RTX 3080 and rock solid 1440p/144fps. Now I'm suffering through the Saints Row reboot.... going to need to replay Sleeping Dogs in 4k as a palette cleanse.
