Whoa whoa... don't get so excited, Stu. SCEA only owns 8% now. Much less than what they had before, man. All that was said is that it would be nice to have a little more support than what is announced for Gamecube. Surely they can do better than some GBA games and Crystal Chronicle.

I meant to say maybe all the good games won't be exclusive to PS2, and maybe we'll see something else on the Gamecube. Not ALL PS2 OMG PS2 ALL TEH TIME maybe a more broadened horizon than what we've seen. I say that because Sony has less of a grasp on the new company, allowing less tension and more Multi-platform time. GBA games don't count, because they aren't console. Quote:

I guess it was only called a merge because Enix knew they'd get more publicity that way. Also, having the name "Square" almost always means quality, according to people. Square's rep could do wonders for Enix, so they kept that buying detail out.
