:hmm:
ooooooooook, do u know this from a credible source or are you just speculating? |
The movie is partly based on biblical stories. I know it to be true and I've read it from several reliable sources.
|
This is my conclusion from the movie. ::SPOILERS::
The architech (guy that created the matrix along w/ the oracle), well he said that this was the 6th matrix that he had created. And the one was someone that always came about to finish off the matrix and destroy it so that a new one would be created. this way people didn't start completely not believing in it. Well Neo ended up believing in his love so much that nothing else mattered and he completely realizedt hat the matrix was a fake. Well remember how the architect said that Zion was destroyed everytime and a new matrix was created, well the only thing I can think of is that he sent 5 people including hte one back to re created zion and start saving people from the new matrix thinking zion was real. Well zion is like a fire wall for the matrix. an alternate reality outside of hte matrix so that people will be content w/ what they have and not want to get out in the real world. The reason that neo could "feel" the centinals and stop them just like real bullets in the matrix is b/c he realized that Zion was fake also. Another reason why Smith was able to take over that person and stay w/ him when he was taken into zion. So I think the last movie is going to be about Neo coming out of Zion and starting to save the people in the real world. so pretty much all of what we have seen in the matrix and outside of it is all programs. OH btw how awesome was the computer program that gave that girl an orgasm? haha |

I would say that you are not far from the truth. (actually I think the creator of the matrix would be better suited to "The Father", where as Morpheus is more like a well wisher keeping the faith). The subtitles for the Matrix: Reloaded and the Matrix: Revolutions aren't there for nothing. In Reloaded, the story is about the Matrix restarting, and in Revolutions, the story will no doubt be about something regarding a revolution (or something related to it, for that matter.) Also, I urge you people to play through Enter the Matrix, is explains quite a bit about the storyline (not to mention exclusive footage filmed only for the game). |
My friends and I have come up with a Matrix within a Matrix theory. Where the "real world" is actually another Matrix. This would be (in some peoples opinions) a more simplistic way of explaining Neo's powers at the end of the movie.
However, a more theological approach to the situation, would be that Neo was granted such powers in the real world so as to battle his greatest adversary Agent Smith. I think what some of you aren't realizing (and I haven't come to fully comprehend because I don't remember every aspect of the film), is that when agent smith copied himself into that man's body (when they were trying to escape with the message from the Oracle), and then was taken out of the Matrix, Agent Smith's ego, or at least a copy of it, was also taken out of the Matrix. It manifested itself in the human body of the person it copied itself into. What I don't understand is the guy hooked up to the machine next to Neo at the end of the movie. Did anybody else notice what he etched into his hand when he tried to kill Neo? A Roman Numeral two. Which could be indicative that there is not only a "One", but a "Two". I think it was confirmed in an interview with the brothers that there would be a "two". However that design he etched in his hand could have been something else that I didn't think of. Just a suggestion. Oh well. I think I've milked about all I can out of the movie for only have gone to it twice. I'l have to go see it again. |
What I don't understand is why everyone in the Matrix will die if Neo chooses the wrong door.
|
I believe it was the choice the Architect gave him. He could've saved the human race but let Trinity die or have the whole human specie not exist nemore. I'm really not clear on it though. His love for Trinity was so strong he risked killing the human specie so he could save Trinity.
I'm still not understanding the Architect. Did he have more of a motive than creating the Matrix world. |

I think that is what happened... Or maybe the machines didn't reach Zion, but like a defense station or something. |
It couldn't have been Zion. I thought the hospital was in Zion. :p
|
the machines reached the counterattack that the humans had set up to stop the machines not zion.
|
I saw it and i loved it
***** spoilers not really but just in case **** My friend saw it with me and he didnt like it. This is what he thought of the movie. It was just all about Neo being some kind of super hero which he thinks is kind of corny and people telling him what to do throughout the movie and him following it or everybody in Zion dies and the fight scenes are only in there to make it interesting... Kind of like a game of simon sais y'know.. But i liked it :) |

Now, let's start with the obvious things we know about the survivor: 1. He is the same person who tried to kill Neo in the beginning of the movie. 2. He etched two strait parallel lines into his hand before he did that. 3. He asked his superior officer to volunteer to look for Morpheus's ship. And some things that (perhaps) coincide with the numbers above: 1. There had to have been motive for him to kill Neo. Likewise, there had to be motive for the machines to spare him. 2. Are those lines symbolic of the Roman Numberal Two? Either way, what do they stand for and what was the driving force behind doing it? 3. He wanted to find the ship for a reason. Again, what was his motive? If you can recall, at the counter attack, the survivor triggered an EMP blast (presumably) so that the machines could kill the Zion forces more quickly. -------------------------------- Now, about the lines he cut into his hand. I want to know (if it is a Roman Numberal two) why he would etch them into his hand. It almost sounds cult-like to me. I almost wonder if there is some sort of prophesy or alter-religion (or perhaps cult) that he follows. Like in real life, there is not simply Christian beliefs or disbelief, nor simply Jewish beliefs or disbelief. There are middle religions. What would their motive be if such a cult did exist? Well, I'm done for now. :D PS: Can somebody figure out his name for me? I'm sick of calling him survivor... |
Ok, I'm not sure if all of you know this because in the last couple of posts it looked like some people weren't sure who he was...but the one survivor dude was the guy that Agent Smith cloned himself into at the beginning of the movie.
|
Yeah, what Zebra said...he's Agent Smith...
