No, I think he's just saying that it's all how you look at them. He's been raised with them not meaning much. Whereas a lot of people think they're downright evil. I've been raised with a bit of both.

I don't see typhoid cussing all of the time on the boards. Or anybody else, for that matter. Most people keep it to a minimum out of respect for the people bothered by it. But I think we as readers also have to respect it if other people choose to swear. I admit, I swear more than I should in day to day life. I try not to, because I've come to the personal conclusion that I shouldn't. But I still do. It's a way to express myself when I'm really frustrated. It's an outlet.

I don't like it when people use them as space fillers and put them between every other word. That bothers me. But if they help to emphasize a point, they can be powerful tools in human communication.

meh, i said i might be misunderstanding. i guess it was just sarcasm. no big deal, but i still think that if cussing is kept out of a conversation it makes it easier to accept (especially in an argument)

oh well... things have always been fine before and i don't know how it got to be such a big discussion

how about if everyone gets back on topic ;-)

Are we still talking about misunderstanding?
What made it so sarcasmThat was not a yes or no question. Compare that to small deal but he or she still think that if cussing is kept out of a conversation it makes it easier to accept especially in an argumentoh well.:-) Where did you hear that?

I don't feel like editing the whole thread, so you'll just have to make a new one if you want.

I personally don't see the difference between the whole f word or like f*ck, so in my forum, you'll use nothing recognisable. :camfu:
