I cant get my pre-order disk untill sunday, that is when they start pre-selling officially, and since i work at Toys R Us, and get a discount, that is where i am going to buy it. I need to get 4 copies, lol, one for myself, a second for my ebay sale, a third and fourth for friends.
|
Oh yeah, my pre-order disc thingie is in! Going to pick it up tomorrow.
:D |
I've been playing a copy one of my friends got. So far I'm getting ready to head back to the mountain as an adult. OoT:MQ is odd in some places.
*Possible Spoilers* The Dodongo Cavern seemed like I was doing it backwards! That threw me off once in a while! And in Jabu Jabu's Belly, there are friggin cows in the walls!:wtf: What was Nintendo thinking when they re-made OoT a few years ago. *End Spoilers*:D |
I've only gotten so far as to right after you leave Hyrule Castle to go to Death Mountain. I haven't seen anything wierd yet, but I am looking forward to the cow thing :D
Must have had some problems digesting or something. *shrugs and walks away* |
Alrighty, just got back from picking up my preorder disc. But I do have one quick question for anyone. I never played the original Ocarina of Time, considering I never owned a Nintendo 64. So I was wondering would you suggest that I play the original OoT? Or just jump right into the Master Quest?
Thanks in advance. |
You're supposed to play the original first. Master Quest is intended for the people have already played through OoT at least once and know the puzzles and stuff.
It doesn't matter if you play Master Quest first, its just slightly more challenging than OoT, possibly more so since you haven't played OoT first. Plus, the differences in Master Quest won't mean anything unless you've played OoT already. In conclusion, I siggest you play OoT first, but it won't be the end of the world if you skip to Master Quest. *shrugs and walks away* |

Maybe I only think its harder because I'm used to knowing how to get through the puzzles with no problem instead of having to figure it out... *shrugs* I don't know... *shrugs again and walks away* |
Dodongo's Cavern seemed like I was doing it backwards. Thats been the biggest challenge so far. Anyone with MQ and is up to the Fire Temple (Adult), I have a question. How do you get the door with the bars open at the very beginning?! I can't remember and I think doing it is new. But after this, comes the Water Temple:errr: That will take a few days since I don't have the strategy guide for OoT and I can't remember exactly how it goes.

*cough*
Well, I was sick all weekend with a deadly fever. Funny I should get sick on my time off. >_> Anyways, yesterday I had awaited the blissfull call that this disc was in. But it wasn't coming. I phoned them just now, and they're (EB) giving me this crap that they won't get it until they get WW. God, idiots. I may have to revert to Microplay. :( |
My EB won't have the bonus disc until tomorrow, stupid bastards.
|
I have the disc, except I won't be able to play it for like two months because I'm in college and my system is at home (which is about a 19 hour drive away).
|
My EB may have the disc, but Delaware is in a State of Emergency, so no cars allowed to drive unless in an emergency situation...Does getting the bonus disc count as an emergency?
|
I reserved it yesterday and got the bonus disc. This is my first time playing OoT and so far it's been quite boring, I've only talked to the Deku Tree and gotten the sword and shield so I still need to give it some more time. Is Master Quest just a hard version of OoT?

1. You haven't even started the game yet. The first part is just a little introduction to get you used to the controls and stuff. 2. Master Quest has more complicated puzzles and monsters in places they didn't used to be so... Yeah, its a little bit harder. Not extremely though. *shrugs and walks away* |
I finally got my Zelda pre-order yesterday :):) And so far i have only played the deku tree. I already got stuck, lol, on the part where the platform is moving across the water, and you have to go under the rotating spiky bar. I didnt realise that you didnt have to lower the water, and just duck, so i was stuck for a while. But now i beat it, and just got Zelda's letter. Good game, im surprised they changed alot. :D
