So do Red Mages... They and do everything good, but nothing great.

Basically, to specialize in something, you must suck at something else. Humes dont suck at anything, but they arent great at anything, so thats why I'm being a hume, for balance.

Same here... That's why I'm also gonna be a Red Mage... They are a Mix of Black Mage, White Mage, and a Warrior. I think I will start from there until lvl 30 then expand to another job.

(Oh, and I like the Red Mage outfit ;))

I know this, and therefor...

Balanced meaning average everything. And... Humaa meaning Hume, heh.

I'm still trying to figure out how getting abilities works... on shadow-dragons it lists all the abilities you get at certain levels... but what if you switch jobs? Do you become a lvl-1 person at your new job, are do you start getting abilities from the high level you started the new job at?

in other words...

(fictional abilities)

Black Mage:
lvl 1-Fire
lvl 2-water
lvl 3-Ice
lvl 4-Thunder
lvl 5-Death

White Mage
lvl 1-Cure
lvl 2-Luck
lvl 3-Revive
lvl 4-Cura
lvl 5-lucka (running out of ideas here ;))

Ok... imagine you start a new guy as a black mage from level 1-3, then switch to white, would you be:

You:
lvl 1-Fire
lvl 2-Water
lvl 3-Ice
lvl 4-Cura
lvl 5-Lucka

or

You:
lvl 1-Fire
lvl 2-Water
lvl 3-Ice
lvl 4-Cure
lvl 5-Luck

Or am I completly confused about how new abilities are gained :D
