I don't mind the horns.
I didn't even notice them when I was watching [the first game I watched].
To me it just sounds like a Soccer game.
Then again I grew up playing it, being at games and watching them, so I'm probably immune to noticing changes in what the crowd is doing.

When you go through 17 years of hearing loving mothers of both sides shrieking at the top of their lungs for an hour and a half (unlike at hockey in which they bellow), you get used to noise and soccer.

I don't really mind them either, but I understand why people do.

It'd be one thing if they were homemade cultural instruments, but they're just kind of crappy over-sized plastic kazoos.

The main complaint I've heard is that the vuvuzelas drown out any other form of crowd noise. You miss the nation specific chants and songs, that kind of thing.

Again, it doesn't bother me a whole lot, that's what South Africans like to do, so let 'em do it, but it's a worthy debate.

Those things are terribly annoying. They're even worse on the street. So many idiots running around with those things.

Fun fact: When we were watching The Nederlands - Denmark, the neighbours had a 10 second delay on their feed. Always cheering too late. :D
