I would blame it on myself as well, but honestly some of these matches just don't seem to happen.

And seeing how only Yoda and Bluefire has completed their match in a timely manner.

Gonna have to disqualify everyone else.

I've been more than fair here.

So looks like a yoda/BF final.

Well, you can't take part in the tourney.

But you can take part in a VERY special part of the tourney.

It is called the Gauntlet.

And since Yoda was such a huge fan he shal join bluefire.

All they need to do is play 15 matches while losing only a total of 16 lives or less. If they survive, they can continue into the finals. If they lose, well they know not to piss me off. :p

It is very much in control.

And here's some basic guidelines to make it more fair.
1)If you and BF decide to forgo this challenge and play the finals anyhow. You will both be DQed. And well by default. I would declare a winner and no one wants that.
2) It can be 1 on 1. 2 on 1. 3 on 1. I don't care just as long as it is 15 matches.
3) Must be against humans.
4) If you are defeated. The person who defeats you takes your spot in the finals.
5) The person who gets the 17th KO also takes your spot in the finals.
6) Have fun. :D

Anyways, Yoda... I guess we are in the finals now. I still feel bad for other contestants, I think Lunar and GM may play tonight, maybe. Not really sure. But if we stay in finals, shall we have our match tomorrow?

According to BaB, it will be three matches.. 1 timed, 1 stock, 1 timed stock (don't ask me). You ok with this? I'm fine with going ahead with the tourney, ignoring this silly challenge. I'm ok with BaB declaring a winner.. I'm just in this for fun :P. Maybe we could do the challenge after the finals though.

Sure, I'll probably be available tomorrow night around 7 CST?

We can do the challenge after we play out games. Would be fun me thinks.

Sounds fine, Yoda. I'll PM you if something comes up. And yeah, looks like the third match will be a coin match, although I'd rather have it be a normal stock match.. lol. Looks like the challenge will go on after the final matches. Sounds like fun.

Since apparently Yoda and Bluefire's fingers don't move fast enough to type a reply in over a week.

They had their finals series and Bluefire somehow pulled it out.

This tourney was sort of a trainwreck, no?

So thinking of doing another one later on in the month. Giving everyone the head's up so they can tell me what works and doesn't work for them. Also may be changing the formula up a bit.

And just so you folks don't need to worry, Bluefire won't be in the next tourney. He has taken himself out.

And instead, we decided would be cool if winner of first tourney (BF) took on winner of the second tourney in a GT challenge.
