Well, when these guys are the San Antonio vikings in a few years and cullpeper is gone and moss is in jail maybe the whole world will finally realize what a moron Dennis Green was and then I can be happy

Although the Vikings suck, Randy Moss is not a psycho, he will not be in jail, Culpepper sucks, and the Vikings are not moving anywhere. You have other athletes who are worse then Moss who aren't even in jail, so why would Moss be? Don't hate on him just because he is the best receiver out there.

Professor S 12-08-2002 06:36 PM

Randy Moss is the reason why the Vikings suck. His "I don't care about anything but myself" attitude has been infectious. It has ruined Culpepper and made Cris Carter stop caring about football. If I could get Randy Moss on my team for $10 a year I wouldn't want him. He is poison and the Vikings have let him make their whole team sick.

There is a reason why most teams let himpass by in the draft.

Is he incredibly talented? Yes, but so was Jeff George. Look at where he is now. Attitude is everything, therefore he is nothing and never will be as long as he keeps acting like a child.

RUNNING FVCKING HUMAN BEINGS OVER WITH CARS IS NOT SOMETHING NORMAL PEOPLE DO!

GOD! How can people not think there is something seriously psycologicly wrong with randy moss?

Maybe he won't be in jail but he sure as hell deserves it. the people out there who are "worse than him" should be in jail too. Best reciever out there LOL Owens, Harrison, Ward, Rice, Driver, Horn are all better recievers. Hell marty booker is a better player than randy moss this year.

Oh yeah, don't think the vikings wouldn't move to San Antoinio if they could. Their owner is from texas, he wants out of minnesota and He's having trouble getting a new stadium to replace the ****ty hump dome. The nfl has to approve moves and they won't let the vikings go as long as they make money in minnesota because they know if they move and they're profitable then they'll just need to put another expansion team up there.

Even though Stonecutter is a Bears fan... and he ranked Green Bay way too low... I have to agree with him here. Randy Moss is a royal ass. If you add up what he has done in high school, college, and the pros it's quite a record. Randy Moss is the direct reason why the Vikings are awful, and my Packers will prove it tonight on ESPN Sunday Night Football. :)

By the way MasterMind, could you please name one current Vikings player who is respectable, a model citizen, and has never had any problems with the law?

Well, nothing will bring bears and packers fans together quite like bashing vikings fans.

"Way too low?"

Which of those teams do you actually believe the packers are better than? I'll agree that pittsburgh just didn't show up today and SD lost (though to the raiders) but can you honestly say the packers should be ranked higher than 4th?

The Germanator 12-08-2002 11:39 PM

Well...the Packers didn't look all that impressive tonight, but hey, they came back and got the win, that's what matters I suppose. Haha, that little scrum at the end was fairly amusing though.

Professor S 12-09-2002 09:47 AM

I fear Lambeau Field. The Eagles need to win out and get homefield or at least get one home game if Greenbay fails to get homefield. The Packers at the Vet don't scare me. The Packers at home do. But put Brett on the s**tty Vet turf and watch the interceptions just fall into Bobby Taylor's hands :D

I agree, the Vet's turf is horrible. The Eagles seem to do fine on it, but I guess that's because they are used to it. They should be able to pull off home field advantage because the Packers are 8-3 in the NFC and the Eagles are 9-0 in the NFC and with only three games left (all NFC games) the Eagles will at least have one win, but I bet the will win a three of their last games, so they will clinch home field advantage.

Did any of you see Lincoln Financial Field yet. The stands are very steep and the stadium is higher than the Vet.

Those damn Vikings... we hate them all!

Ok, my #1 ranking of the Pack is a tad biased, I will admit it. But if you asked me to rank the Packers from a nonbiased perspective, I would honestly rank them 3rd. In the entire NFL.

I agree. The Packers didn't play all that well, but they rallied to get the win and that is all that matters. By the way, I bet four or five Vikings players will get nice little fines in the mail from the friendly NFL come Tuesday.

The vet has the worst turf of any stadium in sports. The turf that covers second base has nothing but cement underneath it.

Does anyone rembember a bears eagles game back in 93 at the vet? Bears WR Wendell Davis broke both his knees when he went out for a pass and fell on that crappy turf. Too bad.

heh, vikings suck.

Hey Stonecutter, have you ever seen the Viking's trophy case? Har har har...

34-0

Yep, you guessed it. That is Brett Favre's record in home games when the temperature at kickoff is 34 or lower. Here's hoping for homefield advantage. :D

Yep...that's why the Eagles are saying good bye to old faithful at the end of the year. Hopefully that's not until the NFC championship game. :D

Of course we'll see the Phillies play at the vet for another year, so the beast will not be put to sleep until next September...(maybe October with Thome :sneaky: )

ZebraRampage 12-09-2002 09:27 PM

Oooooooo I can't wait for the Vet to go down. My dad and I are definitely going to see it and it will be awesome, probably just like the King Dome in Seattle.

What do you guys think about the AFC, which teams do you think are out of it after being in the race. I think that the Bills, and the Broncos are finally out of it and I'm kind of surprised that the Broncos are, but they have had a tough schedule.

Jason1 12-09-2002 10:05 PM

Woo! Go Steelers!

*remembers they got beat 24-6 by the Texans this week*

*sits quitely in corner*

The Germanator 12-09-2002 10:28 PM

Yeah man, that Steelers game was uuuuuugly. The Texans get 47 yards and 3 first downs and win by 18 points? *does not compute* That's why defense wins football games....
