Think about this Angrist. Members on this forum would commend you more than hate you if you managed to ignore joeiss's attempts at insulting you (mind you, he hasn't been doing anything recently, until you brought up this topic). So what if he bashes you behind your back, just IGNORE him.

I think you are your own worst enemy on these forums, and proof of this is this topic. By creating this thread, you have given a reason for members to bash you. Just let it die, and get on with what you do, and you may actually find it surprising that people will stop bashing you.

He does make a point though, the more you try to combat Joeiss' comments the more you self-destruct. So I would just ignore him, just how I learned to ignore your comments I don't like. Of course that is just an opinion.

Yeah, I'd rather not. I know very little about geography, and I usually just assume that all those tiny little European countries that I don't really care about are located in Scandinavia. Holland, Finland, Latvia, whatever. The only reason I know Latvia is because Doctor Doom owns it. Or is that Latveria? :confused: Anyway, I think it's about time someone closes this thread. Almost everyone who posts is posting just to tell you how stupid you are, so there's no reason to keep it going. And can I still have your doubloons if you go away. If you don't give them to me, then the government will take 'em anyways.

Well, I searched "Joeiss" on google and this thread showed up. Damn we had some exciting times all those years ago.

Oh, and it's my birthday, so I just want to say thanks for all the kind memories, GameTavern! :) Memories like this are the ones that I'll hold on to for the rest of my life. Hahaha.

When I find I feel intimidated by a person or a situation I'm in, which happens a lot to me it seems which I like to blame on my long line of paranoid family members, I just run through this thought-process.

Who controls me? No one controls me but me. No one CAN control me but me. No one has any power over my actions except the power that I let them have over me. In that case, then don't I have more power than I think? I am literally giving away my own power to other people when I let them intimidate me or control my thoughts. So why don't I realize that I'm giving away my power to other people, and instead of giving it away, why don't I take it back?

It works for me. I reckon, however, that this thought-process wouldn't work particularly well if I were getting my ass kicked.
