Hm, the way he stayed horizontal in the air does look like he was hanging from a cable. But how could you do that in a packed stadium?

Just tell the classes of a University "Hey, we want to film a short video, anyone who comes to the arena will be much appreciated."

What is up with all these fake facebook pictures lately? They are lame and lacking funny. Maybe it was funny the first time, but we've driven this one to the ground. I blame collegehumor. They should just transition over to a ful time jailbait pic site.

Some Flickr Creative Common pictures I'll be using for my thesis:

By Adam Baker

By Claus Rebler.

By a friend.

I plan to use one nice picture per chapter, so I'll probably end up with 20+.

So I've only watched one episode of CSI ever since it's been on tv. In fact it was more like fifteen minutes of that episode, and those pictures that you just posted are EXACTLY WHY!

Teuthida 10-22-2009 10:12 PM

Re: The Picture Thread

Never saw the show but funny it should be brought up on an Australian paranormal podcast right after you posted these. They made fun of the zooming in of a cow being abducted to the methods on CSI. Looks like a floating white blob but "experts" have zoomed in and cleared it up to see hoofs and all.

http://inexplicata.blogspot.com/2009...-analysis.html

......yeah, not quite CSI clear.

First blue shell, now green shell. Next we have to whine about the red shell?

Don't get me started on that blue shell. That shell gets worse with each new game. I swear in Kart Wii that blue shell qualifies as the cheapest item in the game.

Wait, how is it different than Double Dash and Kart DS?

I honestly find it the cheapest in Mario Kart 64 since it can actually take out people in between the person who throws it and first place as well.

I wish... even if near impossible, they had some way to at least dodge it.

There is a way to dodge the blue shell in Mario Kart DS (maybe Wii as well?). Boost just as the blue shell hits the ground. It'll blow up right behind you.

I haven't played Kart DS, but I do think that the Wii version has the most cheap blue shell of all. It's one of those few items that allows you to come back on the last lap from last place and pretty much win the race. you can't really do that in Mario Kart 64 or even Double Dash.

Angrist 10-27-2009 05:56 PM

Re: The Picture Thread

You can dodge it: drop to second place in time.

Although it won't work in the last second or so.
