That wowed me. Is that really in game graphics??? Even though it looks like it is from a gameplayers perspective, who's to say somebody didn't computer generate some or all of it? I'm confused  Also where are the gamelists? I haven't seen ANY games yet that have stood out and grabbed me by the nutz. |
Re: Sony's Conference
No. Got internet being installed on Tuesday. For now, I'm on a relatively slow, and very expensive public computer. So no big downloads until Tuesday. Then I have to sort through this mess of 80 posts per console.

Re: Sony's Conference
The only games known for PS3 release are:
Killzone 2 I-8 Gran Turismo 5 Motor Storm Heavenly Sword Metal Gear Solid 4 Grand Theft Auto next Final Fantasy next Rockstar western (Red Dead Revolver 2?) Fight Night round 3 Formula 1 Devil May Cry 4 Mobile Suit Gundam Tekken Ni-Oh EyeDentify Warhawk Killing Day but it's not set to release for another 10-11 months, so you cant expect a very large game list. how large was the XBox 360's game list 5-6 months ago? |

Bluetooth 2.0 EDR (Sony and Ericsson invented Bluetooth... what do you expect?) Now about the price... let's check out some marketing patterns Newspapers speculate an up to $700 price tag for the Playstation 2. Sony launches PS2 in Japan for $379.00 Sony launches PS2 in US for $299.00 Newspapers speculate a $465 price tag for the Playstation 3. Sony will probably launch in it Japan for $399 And end up launching in the U.S. at $350.00 Sony will keep their price at a competitive price point to keep people interested instead of making them go to Xbox 360. Everyone knows PS3 looks way more powerful, so $350 would be a justified price point, for the extra horsepower in it.... But if it matches the X1.5 at $299.... EVEN BETTER... I'm not stopping them from doing it.... |

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/614/614924p1.html I think it's not realtime, it just looks too ............. polished to be real time. I mean the way everything happens, it just doesn't seem believeable. However I could be wrong. Quote:

But also on the price point, Blu-Ray is expensive, and the price isn't going to go down since its now pretty much became a proprietary format. Where Microsoft and Nintendo are banking on cheap lasers and cheap discs. Allows for a cheaper console, as well as lower game production costs, which is crucial for those smaller developers Sony has been known for having. But it has its benefits. I just don't see Sony selling this at a reasonable pricepoint, and after seeing PSP go for $250 in America, I'm not feeling confident that they will get it lower than $399. |

Re: Sony's Conference
That truly scares me...changing your name to Sony...not even PlayStation but Sony. When I get enough dlbns gonna change my name to General Motors...no...Coca-Cola...no...Square-Enix...no...Anheuser-Busch... which billion-dollar company should I sell my soul to?

That photoshop is extremely good though... the expression on his face and his arm locations... makes it look like he's actually lifting a huge load.
