Why did you ask a question about a computer problem in the sig/avatar thread? I have a sticky in the computer forums where you can post any comp. question and wil most likelyl get a response asap from at least me since I like helping others with their problems and not giving a half assed solution (unless im really confused)

First of all, I'm sorry my solution was "half assed", but like I have already stated, Spybot S&D doesn't permenently remove it. And just for the record, Ad-aware and Norton Anti-Virus doesnt stop it from coming back either, and I'm too lazy to find out what file it came in on to delete it.

Second of all, I didnt mind helping Typhoid, because I like to help with people's problems too, if thats what you were implying. I dont think that's what you meant when you said "I like helping others with their problems and not giving a half assed solution", but I just want to make sure it is known that typhoid wasnt annoying me at all. I enjoyed helping him and showing him the joy and wonders of Firefox.

Third of all, although the question does involve spyware, which is a computer thing, Typhoid thought there was an error in his signiture. He wasnt seeking help or trying to get rid of whatever the problem was (because at first he didn't know). He just wanted to tell everyone not to click the link in his sig if one happened to appeared. If something like this DOESNT belong in the writer's guild, then I dont know what does.

It's a sig & avatar testing thread...Typhoid was testing to see if anyone else could see the link in his sig. The test proved that no, we cant, unless we have said spyware. It would have been rude of me to say "typhoid, you tested your sig, so now go get your solution in the computer forum". I felt it appropriate to give him a solution to his test.

If things had been different, and typhoids original post had been "I have spyware that is affecting my computer and causing things to be hyperlinked, how do I fix it?", then I would agree that it belonged in the computer forum. But, alas, that wasnt his question at all.

You read my reply a little wrong Vampyr. I never directed the half assed part towards anyone, except maybe myself seeing as I wrote it at 5am:p . I was referring to if someone asked a question in the computer help thread. So my reply wasn't meant to be hurtful in any way to anyone. Just giving a little heads up in case Typhoid doesnt know.

But i did/do kow. But all that happened was a secondary conversation regarding my sig. Much like the conversation you two are having. So then, isnt there a thread for what you two are doing as well? :p

I'll try to get some more stuff to you. It's been kind of weird since my parents switched computers when I was in college, so I don't have as many songs on it anymore. I'll definitely get you something at some point though.

Hey I know this thread is long past dead but I'd like to see what you think of the first sig that I've made. They are both in my sig spot until I decide which one I like better. and dyne is still a god!!! w00t to the dyne

I kinda like the green one, it looks a little bettr IMO. But why not use both? You've been doing it so far, and they dont look too bad together.

Well, I had two for Pink Floyd, two for The Beatles, two for The Who, two for Led Zeppelin, and two for The Doors, but 4 of them weren't working so I just changed it all to The Beatles. Those are all the UK Albums minus 2 of them, with the Beatles and Beatles for Sale.

It's a cool and impressive signiture, but it gives me a headache after stairing at it for a while, and it's a little distracting.

I kinda like the shifty one Null. It looks neat. I say you shoudl use it, if people complain that it bugs them to stare at, its their fault for staring at it.

The animated one is an impressive demonstration of your design skills. I've never seen an aminated singature done here before, only avatars. Do you do that yourself Null? If so, please bend foward so that I can give you a pat on the back.

I get bored somtimes and mess around with peoples sigs i see. :p
Note: i dont feel bad if you dont use it. it really is outta bordom. i enjoy messing around with things and seeing how i can change them. :) and i like the one you have moogle.


I also been tryin to play around with a Stacy Keibler sig for jonbo, but its hard to find a pic of her lying down that would fit well in a sig.

i had came up with this one a while ago...



i was looking for a full size one of her lying down that would take up the full length of the sig instead of having seperate pics.

I decided to use the sig you made because it seems to be more color coordinated. Also it fixed the weird square boxyness of mine.

God I need Photoshop, MS paint isn't cutting it anymore. LOL.

no problem. i liked yours, so i wanted to keep it the same. just a bit more smooth look to it.


[EDIT] btw, give gimp a try if your looking for somthing more powerful and cant get photoshop yet.

its pretty close to photoshop. even the look of it looks like photoshop. so even if your planning on getting photoshop later on. learn gimp and it'll make using photoshop that much easier.
