Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
I have a feeling that this one will be good, because it will be more evil. I can't wait to see Obi Wan and Anakin duel. Supposed to be the longest saber duel in the series, and almost up to the speed of the Obi Wan/ Darth Maul duel.

well, its just the dialog was so freakin stupid. we cant help but laugh every time we hear some of thoes lines... "i hate sand...its so course, and it gets everywhere. Not smooth......like you" i mean come on... |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Yea, the lines were what killed Episode 2. Lovey times were in Empire strikes Back, but that was a good movie.
If you remember, Luke from the first movie absolutely blew as an actor. He improved a lot in the second and third movie, and I'm hoping Hayden does too. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Mmmmmm.....I think I just filled my pants..... :sneaky:
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
As much as I hate to admit it... that looked really cool.
If they screw this one up, Lucas should just kill himself. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
that's a lot of wookies!!!!!!!!!1
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
I think they should either re-make 4,5,6, or make new, later ones.
Star wars is awesome, I love it. Dont get the wrong impression, im not up for dressin up and waiting for 2 months outside...because im not a geek or a nerd. But I like Star Wars. |

well they shoulda left the original 3 alone, and if he wanted to change them he coulda remade them all together. and he's now giving serious thought to making the last 3. (god help us all...) he originally said way back that he defenently wasnt going to do them. honestly tho IMO, 7 8 and 9 have a better storyline than 1 2 and 3 anyway. and he could get some of the original actors back to play the parts cuz they're supposed to be older in thoes. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Yeah, that would be cool if they made episodes 7,8,9... But I dunno, I like it the way it is, lol.
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
But I thought the original storyline he had back when there were 9 chapters were screwed with, switched around, and shoved into Return of the Jedi...
Like Leia wasn't supposed to be Luke's sister, it was some other person who wasn't supposed to appear until sometime in chapter 6-9... And the emporer wasn't supposed to make an appearance until the last episode... And now he's already dead... |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer

they might of had many ideas that they chaged, but he had 9 scripts written long long ago. he orginally was going to do all 9. the books on all 9 were written long long ago. and theres books inbetween and after and before and everywhere. 7 8 and 9 i thought, had something to do with Leia and Han getting married, having a couple kids, one of which was supposed to turn out to be the first female jedi, but im not sure of that, they might of changed that a long time ago also. lol But i think they kinda start rebuilding the jedi. *shrugs* i never read the books, so i really dont know what they were about tho. lol. but he didnt cram them into the last one, he still had plans to do them after the original 3. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Trailer looks okay, dosent look like anything all that new or unexpected yet though...it was very brief...
But about making 7, 8, and 9....That would be cool if he could get some of the old actors to come back, but I doubt he could. I mean I just somehow doubt Hammil and the gang would be up to that... |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
i think he could get ford fairly easily.... i mean he's doing the new indiana jones with ford lol..., but the others would be tougher.
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
7,8,9 would most likely be about Leia and Han's children, who have high midi-chlorian counts (hahah)... and they are apprentices of Luke I think. I think Luke starts up a Jedi school at some point too...

Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
What are you talking about? The book for VII, VIII, and IX were never written. Lucas may have had some ideas for a sequel triolgy, but I doubt he went so far as to write scripts or books for them.
He is also NOT seriously considering doing VII, VIII, or IX in the near future. He has been repeatedly quoted as saying he is seriously opposed to doing so. The only future projects planned for the Star Wars are the normal books and games, and a new live-action TV series. Also, there is a possibility for a full length animated TV series (as opposed to the Clone Wars shorts). I don't know how people have gotten the idea that Lucas has written the scripts for VII, VIII, or IX or squished them into RotJ or whatever. The only time he's mentioned a sequel trilogy was as a half-joke way back when ESB was being made. Anything after that was all rumors or denials. Also, Joeiss, that is from the EU books written by people other then George Lucas (Luke starting a Jedi Academy would come specifically from Kevin J. Anderson). George Lucas had very little to do with the story (perhaps none at all; depends). Although I will admit that the Episode II dialogue blew chunks. *shrugs and walks away* |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
I like the ideas I've heard (none from official sources, just ideas from fans) around the net about creating star wars movies every once in awhile that aren't really tied into each other by anything except the star wars universe... Ones that aren't handled by Lucas...
Sorta like Star Wars games I guess... like Kotor coulda been a movie, dark foces, etc... Not exactly those games, but just an example of how characters and time periods could jump around and COMPELLING STORIES OF GOOD VS. EVIL COULD BE TOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111 ....... But Lucas would never let that happen... |

yes. and funny how times change isnt it? you might want to look up some more recent info on that. Theres been many articles in the past year saying he is now strongly considering making the final 3. And there was something else about employee's signing contracts making them unable to talk about episodes 7, 8 and 9 |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
I've also seen several articles pointing to how he's not making the movies. While, yes, the NDA probably means something, it doesn't necessarily mean movies. The sequels could be made made into a TV series or books or whatever. Or George Lucas could have nothing to do with it.

Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Next time I go home, I should look for some of my old Star Wars books. There was a trilogy that I read which was absolutely amazing... I totally forget what the books were called though, lol. But on one of the covers, I think there was an old man who was a Sith, and he had a bunch of electricity coming out of him or something... But maybe not, who knows.
Actually.... I think the trilogy I read went inbetween episode 4 and 5.... Because I think it started out with Darth Vader's Tie Fighter spinning out of control, and landing somewhere far away..... Which happened at the end of Episode 4.. But oh well.. I might be totally wrong, haha... Anyways, this book trilogy was great.. Really fun to read, and great characters too. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Some of mt favourite Star Wars books : Tales from the Bounty Hunters, Tales from Jabba's Palace, and the whole Bounty Hunter series ( Mandalorian Armor, Slave Ship, Hard Mechandise.) Woot!
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Yes, the bounty hunter series was great...
And I think the one I am thinking about is the "Kahn" series or something? I dunno.. |

Heir to the Empire/Thrawn Trilogy. Written by Timothy Zahn. This was the book trilogy that revitalized the EU and began the line of Star Wars books that is continuing today (albeit under a different publisher). They are considered by many to be the ultimate EU stories. Nearly perfect. *shrugs and walks away* |

Yes! OMG, these books are amazing... And what is EU? lol.. is that a short form for something? |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Extended Universe. All the Star Wars stuff that isn't a movie. The books and games and comics and stuff.
*shrugs and walks away* |
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
Oh, ok.. I Think they have some extended universe toys too!
|
Re: Star Wars Episode III Trailer
I got the Episode 1 Monopoly set. Its pretty funny, istead of Boardwalk there is the Jedi temple. You can make it a temple/Hotel.
