My desktop is too hot to post on Game Tavern, sorry.

I tend to just shove stuff i download onto my desktop for easy access. I use to have a background like a year ago but then i accidentally deleted the file so it looks the way it does not.... A nice shade of gray.

This is rather clean compared to usual.

Someone tell me why it wont let me attach a file plz....

Dunadan, I like your desktop. Is that Hawaii? I have a similiar screen saver which goes through a slide show of similiar tropic areas. Probably Hawaii and other islands like Fiji and Caribbean.

Mushlafa, very nice computer generated graphics you got going there. Looks like a space version of Tremors if you've ever seen that movie.

PureEvil, nice, sharp picture. Cool action shot. Is that one of big Grand Prix events or is it just a local race in your town or something?

Nah, it's a 60GB HD split in 3. OS X/ OS 9/Files. I plan on buying a new 40GB HD, making that for my files, and splitting OS 9 and OS X on the 60GB.

Anyway, it's Photoshop 7b43. Didn't feel the need to upgrade to b51, or whatever the newest one is.

The Saame ol' Sh*t that's in the Computers forum, but with some cusatom Icons, cluttered as hell as well, enjoy.

Here's another one. I didn't make it but I brought it to wall-paper form. Skimmed through the Pokémon Stadium 2 manual, scanned it into the computer, made some color adjustments, and voila!

Hey, it's better than anything pokemon.com has on their site! :D

(edit- Er, it dont work. Whats the max size for files? I think it may be to big)

If you are saving it as a bitmap, then it probably is too big. Try saving it as a JPEG. Should work then.

P.S. - Max size is 250,000 bytes.

Ah.. his desktop? Damn, that was some nasty sheet!

What's with you guys and bitmaps? Do you not know how old, funky, and outdated those are?? The quality is poor, the file size is just plain disgusting, and it takes forever to open them. At least save them as pict files... :rolleyes:

Just kidding. Save anything you planning on displaying on the internet in jpeg. It's quality almost matches that of pict files with 50-75% less the file size. I also format my desktop wallpapers as jpeg but if you have super eyes that can tell the diffrence of quality between jpeg and pict, go ahead and save them as pict (if your hard drive can handle it :p). That's all... :)

Hmm how many desktops do I have now...?

Windows:
Admin login - 2 virtual desktops
sdtPikachu login - 8 virtual desktops
Generic user login - 2 virtual desktops

Linux:
Root - 6 vitual desktops
sdtPikachu login - 6 virtual desktops
Generic user login - 4 virtual desktops

I think if I uploaded them all it would break the GT server, since they're all different. :D

Anyway, my desktops don't tend to change much once I find a decent layout/wallpaper combo, so they're pretty much the same as the ones I posted in the computer forums.

Apart from they now have a few cool hacks which you can only see when you actually use them... using transparency rocks (I found a registry hack for Windows that lets me mod all sorts of things with window behaviour, like making them transparent when I move them about etc).

GNOME beats the **** out of windows though.

Oh, sod it. I'm proud of my desktop, so I am yet again going to take this opportunity to show it off. I posted my windows one, as my GNOME one currently doesn't look as spiffy, since I'm still configuring it.
