New Super Mario Bros Review
http://ds.ign.com/articles/705/705537p1.html
9.5 from IGN Either way I always wanted this game, and now I want it even more. |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Might even be better than Yoshi's Island he says. *strokes chin* Then again Wario Land 2 is actually the greatest "Mario" game IMO.
I'm more amazed IGN updated on a weekend rather than the score. |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Jesus christ. Paycheck cooooooooooommmmmmmmeeeeeeeeee
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review

One of my co-workers just got the game for his review, and he's going insane over it. Looks phenominal. |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Yay, I get paid right before it comes out. may as well grab it :D
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
I'm amazed Nintendo didn't change the name. "New Super Mario Bros."...... cheesy!
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Don't remember the exact quote but someone said with naming conventions like that he should have seen Wii coming from a mile away.
Anyway, my frothing demand for this game increases. |

Sure, you could slap a number on the end. But they're not Capcom. |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
They should've called it Super Mario Bros. X5 Alpha MAX
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
"New" is an ephemeral name though. Nothing is new forever. Does this mean this is the last SMB they plan to ever do and thus shall always be the newest one?
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Mario Bros DS? That was already taken b4.
Or Super Gianni Sisters! |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Sequel: Newer Super Mario Bros!
No, the sequel will probably be called New Super Mario Bros 2. Just like Metroid Prime got a sequel called Metroid Prime 2. >.< |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Anyone pick it up yet?
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
I heard it's hard to find.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Not hard for me to find at all.
And at Circuit City's discounted price. Anyhow, "new" is a relative term in this game. More would of been better. This is super mario bros 2k6 and that is nothing but a good thing. They added moves from later games and new powerups but for the most part. Its the simple, fire flower rules all gameplay of the original with some unique twists and turns here and there. It is indeed an awesome game. |
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
I'll pick it up when I get an xbox 360 game tomorrow.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
The more I see (and hear) of this game, the more I want it. But no DS. :(
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Yea, its fun. Possibly a little too easy so far, but im not very far into it yet. Finding the 3 coins in each level is fun!
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Yeah I'm really enjoying it. It's a bit easier to play, but harder to master than the other 2-D Mario games. On world 4 at the moment, but I warped (unknowingly) so I'm headed back to World 3 to finish that before I move on.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
I just got it, and it's really good. I don't know if it's worth the money or not yet, but it is good.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Just got it today (after waiting 2 weeks for delivery) and beat. Ran through it quickly to gain the ability to save anytime. Now gonna go back and get all the coins and find all the hidden levels and goodies.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
Yay 3 stars on my file. All star coins found and spent, all levels beat, all alternative exits found...and um...now...uh, I guess time for a new game.
|
Re: New Super Mario Bros Review
I really liked all the nifty mini-games... Speed on the DS...Amazing.
