Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

Well as everyone knows, Nintendo loves them some friend codes to protect us from the evils of predators.

So for one of their biggest (understatement perharps?) releases of the year. This is a thread for GT to share their codes so we can play together.

The Wii Freeloader just released in the US; I think the European one is coming really soon.

Is that your general Wii number for like, sending mail to you? Or is that your combined Wii + SSBB code?

GameMaster 03-11-2008 05:41 PM

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

Combined? I thought the general Wii number and a person's 'Smash' number were separate and different?

Angrist 03-11-2008 06:11 PM

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

I don't want a freeloader and an American SSBB! I want them to release the game here, how hard can that be? They should fire all the people handling the translations!!

All the text should/could have been translated the moment they were ready for English translation. There is no excuse.

Edit: I got the soundtrack in mp3. I just listened to 4 songs and I already have a favorite: Tom Nook's Store! :D
And now I'm boycotting the game again. :)

Perhaps I could have phrased it better. The specific copy of a Wii title you have combines with your Wii's number to make a unique paired number. Hence why I said combined, though in essence, it's also completely different.

Finally, dont forget about me everyone! I allready added you guys.

5241-1660-8698

Oh, and just a warning, my name is entered as Jason online right now, but my brother might change it to who-knows-what.

Oh, and I had a question. Is it not possible for 2 people on one Wii to play 2 other RANDOM people on another wii? I ask this because it dosent seem like its possible, which sucks. I know its possible with friends, but why not random?

Angrist 03-14-2008 03:11 AM

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

Because you would be able to cheat? Wait, do you mean FFA or 2v2?

The only reason I can come up with.

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

I saw Earl, Jason, and Yoda online last night but when I select your names, the option to join your room is grayed out.

How in blue hell do I challenge you guys or let you know I want to battle?

Well if it was last night, I was probably just playing random people. So maybe it wont let you join random games, or maybe we allready had 4 people.

All I know for sure is, earlier today I went online and saw BreakAbone and bluefire online, and I chose one of their names, selected join game, and I was able to jump in on it. But im assuming thats only because they didnt yet have 4 people.

The Instruction booklet is basically worthelss in explaining how the online works.

Hmm this may never end. :p

I want to use Sonic, but if your Ike gets him its pretty much a one-sided affair. I mean the guy got KOed at like 30% one time I think.

I need to play with all the other GTers... no offense to you, BaB :p

we should schedule a tourney

Jason1 03-16-2008 06:28 PM

Re: Super Smash Bros Brawl; SuperFriend Code Edition

Im all for a tourney, but unfortanatley my spring break is over and I'll only be able to play on certain weekends. I should be around next weekend, though. But, my brother should be playing online from time to time and hes pretty good so if anyone sees him online be sure to let him in or challenge him.

Oh, and I'll add you later tonight Ginkasa.

Why does Earl have a little colored circle next to his name?

Like sometimes its Yellow/Orangish and other times its green. I've never noticed it on anyone else's yet?

But boy oh boy, did I have some good matches tonight.

I was pwning people like there was no tomorrow. I'm damn good at getting those Smash orbs too.

I belive those orbs are signal strength. Blue is the best, green is good, yellow is probably meidocre, and a red signal is bad...meaning you will probably have lag if you play them.
