Killzone Liberation - Still Fresh

Hello folks. Just wondering who out there still plays this gem, and if there is a chance of a sequel once Killzone 2 comes out?

I'm sorry to gush, but it has remained one of the multiplayer main-stays for myself and my mates back in Australia since 2006, and goes to show no concessions of control need be forsaken on the machine in terms of providing a worthy, competitive action title.

Online is just brilliant, despite the odd hacker.

I suppose I'm preaching to the converted, but I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

Cheers.

- Pylon.

Alas, I don't. One of those unlucky ones. But hey, my portable system is doing just fine. All my gaming needs taken care of. No fanboy, just funboy. But, I hope to pick one up in the next year or so. New car, you see...money being what it is. Lousy inability to NOT grow on trees.

Just online now in Killzone: Liberation if anyone is interested.

Liberation name: Pylon_Trooper (funny, that.)

It's a shame nobody else here seems to care about the PSP.

I care about the PSP - I usually just stick to MGS: Portable Ops, Vice City Stories, and HSG: Open Tee. Hahaha.

Re: Killzone Liberation - Still Fresh

Oh, well HSG: Open Tee 2 just came out today. :p

Online play!

Yep, along with LEGO Indy. I'm picking up both of them. :)

I'm just really disappointed that HGS: Open Tee 2 doesn't have the Advanced Shots from HSG5 on PS3. :(

You know as soon as I read your comment I leapt out of my chair at work and ran to the nearest EB Games? Hahaha. Not many games do that for me. :D

Anyways, I don't really like the advanced shot system so I'm glad they're sticking with traditional.

What's horrible about it? Explain yourself, or it's pistols at dawn!

...in an isometric environment, nonetheless!

Very brown, bad save system. The core shooting was fine. It just wasn't compelling enough to overcome blah art direction and stupid progression method. Its a portable game; I don't want to have to restart a mission if I'm halfway through one.

Fair call on brown. Save system...well, the checkpoints were rather sparse, but I guess that's what sleep-mode is for if you want to put it down.

Blah art direction? Hmmm. Tastes differ. I thought it looked like a bombed-out sci-fi warzone, which seems to be the Killzone art direction style.

Did you play it multiplayer?
