Acebot's avatar raises an interesting question...

... should everyone change their avatar to a picture of BaB?

Teuthida 10-09-2009 10:57 PM

Re: Acebot's avatar raises an interesting question...

...maybe.

Alright, since we don't want to lose BaB as a member, we should probably revert to previous avatars.

Should have saved this for a secret April fools prank, or mischief night.

I already spoke with BaB and he supports our support for the cause...so it's all good! :D

His name is Henry Pauls....I mean...err...his name is Earl Rufus! His name is Earl Rufus!

Well there is no way I would be happy with this, but on the same hand I really can't complain.. it doesn't matter where I lay on this issue, won't change anyone's mind.

It will run its course sooner or later.

~Edit~
Also, we already have duplicates?

Re: Acebot's avatar raises an interesting question...

I will join this babatar train. Also I somehow feel like we should change the name of the site to Earltavern for a day. Maybe also a giant photo of earl on the intro page before the forums. LOL.

EDIT:

BaB has promised my murder if this plan of action succeeds, so I should hope that EarlTavern goes into full launch within the coming week so that BaB can try to murder me and fail miserably.

Hey yeah, Bond you should make an Earl style for GT instead of a Halloween style.
It would be just as scary, if not more so.

I think its time we put this to bed, I can hardly tell who the hell is posting half the time anymore.

And Bond hasn't even joined in even with this thread.

I can't see why a person like you is annoyed by this? :)

I'll change it back if Earl answers 3 questions I ask (in confidence, of course).

Yeah, I think we should all be done with this now. It's really kind of an invasion of privacy. He trusts us enough to have access to those pictures, we really shouldn't abuse them.

I've changed my avatar to mario dying.

Teuthida 10-16-2009 08:08 PM

And changed mine to Wario undying.

I've changed my avatar to mario dying.

Once it is online it's basically public domain. And I don't care if there is legal mumbo-jumbo that says it isn't. Once it's online it isn't coming back.

That said I am searching for an avatar more epic than my Earl one. Earl should be flattered that I am having such a difficult time topping his.

Found a good picture from Where the Wild Things Are which I'll be seeing today.

If I don't like the movie, I'll have to change my pic again...

I loved it. It's been getting somewhat mixed reviews, but it's one of the best films I've seen this year.

I thought it was good. Saw the IMAX midnight screening (while a bit inebriated and reeking of wine). Not what I expected, but I honestly had no idea what to expect in the first place. All I know is that watching the film brought up a huge mixed bag of emotions that really never felt dealt with when the credits rolled.
