You know the drill.. time to post your desktop for all of GT to see and admire, well, at least see (:p).

So go ahead and post your snazzy desktop! Here's my current desktop, all equipped with 1 icon and my ED theme.. I change my wallpaper every month, and I picked ED this month.

Oh and yes, you can't show an XP desktop without showing the custom Start Bar (:D)

and here is my beautiful desktop....

I use Style XP to rotate my wallpaper, so I have a different Shenmue background everday of the week...

(Yes, I am a little obsessed with Shenmue)

you should save your desktops as .jpg's, that way they aren't so big and we can't paint all over them:D

it was a .bmp, he changed it. btw, thanx for making me look stupid unclenoname:( lol, he did change it though.

Well, here is my desktop thanks to Gekko. Don't worry I'm not obessed at all with the game.

I would show you my desktop, but I'm on the crappiest PC in the house besides that really OLD Mac in the closet. :p

lol... i know... I use to have a background but then i acidentally deleted the file and it just changed to that colour. That was about a year or so ago... and its crowded cause well... when i download something.. for easy acess i just save it to my desktop :D

whats that supposed to mean:unsure: i post in the computer board and ps2 the most i think, i don't post much here anymore, gc hardly at all *shrugs* I did play the penguin word game though:D

Why do so many people have huge numbers of icons on their desktop?! And how is it "easy access"? Cos in order for you to get to the shortcuts, you need to minimise everything and then click the icon.

That's what the quicklaunch bar was invented for...

I have 5 icons on my windows desktop, and I use them about once a week each. Everything else is done from quicklaunch or my heavily configured start menu...

My desktop looks exactly like Mushlafa's....

Yeah, I know that, but nobody posts their desktop in there, and it's really a discussion about operating systems now.

Actually, Gekko makes pretty desktops for Penguin. He's using 16 bit color, and his rainbow isn't even smooth. It should look more like this, with the logo and size difference:

For a month at least, My PC's going to the "shop" soon, and I'll be getting online using my Parent's Craputer like I am now, with that said, I'll show you the annoy Desktop my Mom Picked out, don't get me wrong, I like Paintings, just not on the PC where Electronic Paintings rule.



Anyway here's the Desktop for the Craputer, I mean my Parent's PC, unfurtunalty the CrapPC can't save JPEGs so this is a .BMP file, I wish it weren't though.




PS Mushlafa, no offense man, but your Desktop is worse than my Icon-Covered Desktop. I killed a few of the Icons awhile ago, but I'm growing more, eventually I'll stick 'em al in one oflder for "easy access" because I hate the Start Bar in Windoze.

Take note of the fact that I had to make this a 256 color bitmap, and you'll see why this is a CrapPC running Microshaft Winblows 98 Second Attack.
