Do you think natural death is painful? Like...really painful.

Oh and on the lighter side, this topic is also a ploy to celebrate 5,000 post of GameKinG! Watch out DH...I'm just around the corner.

Great Job! I've yet to reach 500.:unsure: But I don't think natural death is painful. It might be for a little bit(depending on why). But when the time just about hits, you can feel that your gonna be dead in less than 30 secs.

Like old age. Heart stops working...I dunno. Maybe he was so happy that I got 5000 post that he got a heart attack.

I don't believe it's painful. I mean..you feel your heart stop..but then..it's all over. Your systems just shuts down... But then again, how would we know?

By the way, it must be better to die in sleep.

Yeah, I hope I die in my sleep, just to be sure. And I think there would still be a little bit of blood circulating to the brain. or something.

Everyone wants to die in their bed all nice and warm and they want to die peacefully....

What are you talking natural death? Cause ain't cancer natural?

You mean like dying while sleeping or what? Like feeling healthy and just not waking up? Cause I consider a lot of things natural, and in many cases, you may be out cold and die but suffer before that.

acually the body can still work without a heart, as long as the brain still has a suply of blood...so you acually feal your heart stop when it happens and then like maybe 10 seconds later you pass out...and it is painfull...think about it as pulling a muscle, it hurts. (or so i heard)

Like that one dude a few months back that had that artificial heart put in him. But then he died a few weeks/month(s) later:(

I'm not so concerned about how painful my death is, because it'll all be over within a few seconds, even if I drown or burn to death.

Im guessing it hurts. Im guessing it hurts like hell, actually. Hope not though.

Actually i was watchin some thing.. where these people like almost died and stuff.... and your brain does some weird stuff... it like makes you feel relaxed and like your high or somethin... like a natural high ;) and uhh.. they said it wasnt that painful..

no but i dont wanna die in my sleep, that way i wont have a chance to say goodbye to any of my loved ones.

but u never get a chance to say goodbye no matter where you die.

what if there is no heaven or hell. wouldnt that suck?

Hmmm... like he said, I don't wanna die in my sleep. I want my family and best friends to be with me when I die. Just to say goodbye to them and tell them not to mourn to much about me. It will be a lot easier for me than for them.

And I also heard what Mushy said. That when you die, your brain produces some kind of natural drug. :)

I think it is probably absoluty painful for like 2 seconds, but then you go to heaven and chill with Elvis and Lincoln. 2 seconds of pain is worth it.

So you want your death to be a spectacle? Wouldn't it be more painful for family and friends is they actually physically watche you die? I would think so...but maybe not. I wouldn't mind just dieing in my sleep because I would just sort of fade away, it would be nice.

It would be painful to see, but wouldn't it be worse when they get called by the doctors and then hear I died? Without the chance to say goodbye? :unsure:
