GT's First Baby Pool
 

Well as most of you know..Or atleast I think most of you know Shadow_Link's wife is having a baby..And he has given me the go ahead to have a baby pool since it doesn't harm him, his wife of little Snow/Penguin.... the baby is due in like April..

So would anyone like to partake in this little baby pool.. it's only 100 dblns entry fee..... yeah that's it..Just make sure to pick a dater in April..I'm personally shooting for the 2nd... and not because it's my b-day.. Hopefully Link will be around to tell us when the baby is delivered....

I got an idea. Maybe Shadow Link can give like 20 dblns to gets the correct date.

I'll take April 19th.

I'll take ... April 21st. I bet 1 doubloon.

It will cost you 50 dblns to enter the pool....

Everyone will then take a date and make a bet..

All the money people bet will added to a pot...

The person who chooses the correct date will get 85% of the jackpot as their prize

You people really do need to learn the politics of the world.. Let me explain just a little of what is happening.....

Everyone is paying a price to enter into the pool... Since I'm the one taking the bets... I'm the one collecting the money...

Everyone will then pick a date and make a bet... who ever would have won the pool would have got 85% of the jackpot.. since you people don't understand how booking goes... the winner will receive 95% of the money.. I till need to receive something for holding the bet....

And Shooter you have until Sunday to get 50 dblns.. how hard could that be?

Hard. I refuse to accept any doubloons that I don't earn.

Well, Bond and Shadow Link both gave me .5 each, and BLueFire gave me 20 for no reason, and I had them both take them away.

I'd be willing to host this baby pool myself (if Kitana85 is up for it).

Anyways, I obviously have no reason to want keep a cut of the pool, so if you want to give it a second shot, submit your bets to me by replying here. Winner receives 100% of the jackpot. The cost of entry will be 50 doubloons, no more and no less. You are allowed to bet on the same date as someone else, and if Baby_Link (or whatever the baby's name is) is born on that date, the jackpot will be split.

Sound good? Or should I just give up?

BTW, Shooter, if you reply to any number of topics around here with a post that shows evidence of being well thought out, you can earn up to 75 doubloons.

Why in the world should Shadow_Link get any doubloons? He just happens to be the incidental subject of the pool.

And besides, he's a moderator. He doesn't get doubloons.

Anyway, this pool isn't going so well. We'll see how many people bet by this Sunday. If there aren't enough, I'll scrap the idea.
