Well, this list is taken from a poster at that forum who claims to work for Nintendo of Europe in some capacity, according to his post:

-The subtitle "World Smash" will be used for Multiplayer,online Mario titles such as Mario Tennis, Mario Golf and Mario Kart
-Donkey Kong Island will be a 2D game and sequel to Donkey Kong Country and made by Intelligent System
-Along with the Mario titles, Animal Crossing and PokeMon GCN are expected to be online.
-Square is working on a second exclusive GCN RPG that will be action RPG
-Confirmation on Bantio Kanos or whatever the name of the Namco RPG was
-Some other tidbits that I really don't get, rough translation, something about HAL working on a game tha was about 70% complete on the n64 and is being re-made from the ground up on the Cube

Wow... sweetness! World Smash... sounds really awesome. I really hope that all that turns out to be 100%!

I doubt it, at least not all three titles.

Well, this is a list from about a week ago, that is eerily similar to the one I posted before, but it was posted by some dude at Gaming-Age named EAD Ninja, don't know how reliable he is, but I'll check it out I guess.

And if I'm not mistaken, this was before the Metroid Prime 2 leaked out

Yet, IGN said they had heard MP2 was in dev. after it was released it NA.

I know the list contains different words and game titles, but all I can really see is "Killer Ap, Killer Ap, Killer Ap, Killer Ap" ;)

Would "World Smash" be included in the name of any online title?

Anyway, I'm glad to see Mario Kart, Pikmin 2, and Pokémon are up there :)

Well, it's not the list that bothers me as much, for the most part every game on that list has pretty much been confirmed, it's whether or not they are online that is really important to this thread.

And to add even more fuel to this fire, in the last issue of EGM with the Sims on the cover, they also stated how Mario Kart may be one of the first online games for the Cube.

Interesting stuff, but I just mainly hope for some online goodness.

If it's one person that can benefit from online gaming it's Nintendo , I mean imagine playing Starfox, F zero, Mario kart or Pokemon or Ac2 online.

These games single player will push tons of units by themselves imagine if they go online. :eek:

But Nintendo needs to get their online plans happening this year or they might just lose out.

in order for the software numbers to rise dramatically, Nintendo needs to produce a secure online plan, and get LOTS of network adapters into peoples homes.

If everyone had a network adapter, then yes....an online feature in a game would contribute to much higher sales

hhmmmm!!!! Mario Kart Online. :burger: I think I´ll have to get a phone line exclusive for online gaming or my parents are gonna get really mad at me. I hope this is true.
