I've never done yahoo fantasy sports. I can't find in the rules how I get points....like 2 points for a shuttout. Or 3 points for a homerun....can someone just give me the basics?

Im in there, as you guys probably know...

BOUNCER: The scoring depends upon which system bond chose. the one type is where you get a point for having more home-runs, a higher overall average, more RBI's, ect, then the other person. The person with the most points that week wins. The other type is where you players are pitted directly aginst that same position players of your opponent. And stats are tallied that way...I think thats basically how they work.

I decided to use the default.

You can see what will be counted as 'points' if you look at your matchup for week one.

6 is always good. 8 is good as well. 10 starts to deminish the quality of players on each team...

I want to join too, but when I went to your league it said that it wasn't there and that your league might be in the free leagues. I'm assuming that you are, I can't find out where to join now.

yes, this is a free league. there's no money involved, any old yahoo account can access it.

Well, we could easily play with six teams. I just want to hold out a little longer and see if two other people join. The season doesn't start for another month.

Ok, so I picked 25 guys....am I supposed to pick more or what? I picked one catcher, two 1B, one 2B, and so on.

The auto pick draft will be starting soon. Our league should be drafted by the 27th.

You could easily not pick any players and end up with a great team. The computer will auto-draft for you, picking the best avaliable based on their rankings, and your pre-ranked players. I only ranked a few of my favorite players from the Cardinals, and a few players from a few other teams that I think are better than they have them ranked...im just letting the computer do the rest.:p
